O&I to do more outsourcing?
I keep hearing that O&I will be getting more work done by outsourcing companies which likely means less hiring. Does that mean more layoffs?
Anyone has any information?
How are they notifying people?
How are they notifying people? Is it an Outlook calendar invite? Who is doing the axing? What do they say during the call or the meeting?
How are they notifying people?
For those who got the layoff news: how did it come? Was it a sudden calendar invite for a one-on-one, or an email, or something else?
Trying to know what to watch for.
Will she find her thrill on Capitol Hill?
Enjoyed seeing the CEOs of United Healthcare and CVS/Aetna getting scolded by different members of congress last week. How can we make sure Sarah doesn’t miss out on that fun? I need to see her explaining all her little “High Touch Initiatives” put in place in those state plans with high MCR rates. Popcorn ready!

Earnings today
We are going to blow past earnings and guide higher for the next quarter. It's up up and away from here for OT
Why no VP Director or Manager jobs get posted
Why does dvn never post manager+ jobs?
Qualcomm earnings and leadership
Qualcomm seems to have perfected the impossible: beating earnings quarter after quarter while watching its stock drop every single time. Once is bad luck. Repeatedly is a leadership failure. When results are consistently strong and the market reaction is consistently negative, the problem isn’t performance — it’s how the story is being told at the top.
How often do you guys have in person meetings?
Been with the company for 2 years, only had 1 meeting in person. Why cant we just be remote?
Will Wael get the Murray Auchincloss BP CEO treatment in 2026
Everything is now in deep flux. The staff knows that he knows that Wael is a not the future and just a figure head awaiting a Payola. He has kneecapped all competition and has not created a company for the future
What has happened to this company?
I left over a year and a half ago due to unethical behavior from management. Hearing from others and seeing what's written here, it sounds like US Bank is in a dumpster fire that just keeps burning with no end in site. You would think that people in the MC would have hired other leaders from BOFA, JP morgan or Citi to help them navigate..... But no. Can't have people than know better tell Gunjan and Jodie that they running the bank into the ground.
Does it really matter?
Things have calmed down quite a bit where I am, but I’ve had plenty of time to process what’s happened. I’ve seen some great leaders move on to big roles in other companies, and many have retired. They’re even taking my car. When we started, there was a driven team of salespeople out there hustling and trying to win. Now, most of us are just here for the paycheck. Feels like it’s over. Props if you’re still here because you bleed blue. My blood is red, and I can’t stand Coke.
I witnessed eight "restructurings" in less than four years. They finally got me in the ninth.
Despite what Trupanion is an incredibly weak company with upper management that only promotes sycophants while overlooking the actual hard workers and talent. Especially on the marketing side, I saw a disgusting amount of "restructurings" that took place literally every time an exec was promoted or when growth stagnated due to the C-suite repeatedly shutting down ideas that didn't come from themselves. So many excellent workers with incredible ideas just flushed down the drain. Multiple times, I saw them lay off people who were literally doing the work of what would be entire departments at any other job. Trupanion advertises a good culture upfront, but the reality is that they're the exact corporate nightmare that nobody wants to be caught dead in. Don't waste your time with this one. As we all used to joke, if you're actually good enough at your job, you'll either wind up quitting in frustration or getting laid off eventually.
Oh, and very few people ever make it to that five-year sabbatical they promise. It's just a way to lure you in. The executives have a nasty pattern of getting rid of people when they're about a year out from it so they don't have to pay it out.
Why did we stopped reporting scorecard?
USAA had the highest profit last year ($7.9 B) almost twice as much as last year. Almost 7.0B was in P&C alone.
Based on the above earnings, ideally the company scorecard should be higher than at least 125%.
The real driver of the high profitability was because of all the efforts of the senior leadership and they need to be awarded handsomely. But unfortunately you people won’t understand that, so we are going to do the next best thing, not tell you anything and still reward the senior management. So we lowered allocation for you to give more to the senior management.
We will hide behind false numbers like what we gave to Members which increased from 3.7B to 3.8B to 4.0B just during the meeting, but no details will be provided on the breakdown of that number.
Unfortunately the real truth will be reported by the local media in March when the senior management compensation becomes public through insurance company filings. So, we are working with local media to see if we can suppress that information.
Cheers!
Will Centralized Services be mostly safe?
That's what I'm hearing about the restructuring and layoffs next week. Can anyone confirm?
So, are you now ready to unionize? It’s probably too late now.....
You know, MD says it best: "Vote with your dollars."
We should have organized and gotten representation years ago, but most people were brainwashed into thinking the company actually cared. They thought, "They'll never sc--w us; it’s illegal!" Hahaha.
When times were good, nobody cared, nobody prepared, and nobody read between the lines. Now that they’re messing with your pay, you're mad? Why now? It's too late for "now." We've already trained the machine to operate without us.
The only question that matters today is this: Are you prepared for an exit? Mentally? Financially? If not, you’d better start thinking about it. Fast.
What's going on with no hiring?
We have key positions that need to be backfilled that have been open for over a year now. Are we not hiring at all or is this just our manager not giving a damn to fight for it?
Can we lay off the entire C-suite?
I don't think there's much to lose and there's certainly plenty to gain.

Is it just another rumor or is it coming? most likely to be shared at earnings call if it is a fact.
Job change BGCO
I know this is not layoff related, so feel free to ignore it, but my current role and environmental in the BGCO feels toxic. I want to look at other BGCO roles and was thinking about the advanced solutions team. Does anyone have any insight into that team or know if they are considered a part of Dans future plan? Are they likely to have less layoff impacts because of what they do? Is the environment a good one?
Whole Leadership Team Turnover
Surprised it took so long to occur. That last crew did not perform at all. Did a lot of bad stuff to lower ranks - intentional or not. Stock price at $1.38 today.

Amazon Cuts Marketing Lead Kent Hollenbeck
Kent Hollenbeck was impacted by Amazon's latest layoffs. He served as marketing and brand lead for fulfillment technologies and robotics. Amazon plans to eliminate about 16,000 corporate jobs. This follows 14,000 job cuts in October, totaling 30,000. The company aims to strengthen its organization and reduce bureaucracy.
