Thread regarding PNC layoffs

I felt this was an appropriate place to share this article regarding remote work. I think anyone working for PNC would probably agree with it.

@bn In Tech, there was a message that went around that said if you lived east of the city and had to deal with the Parkway closure, it was fine for you to wfh until construction completed. Our CIO also reiterated that in a manager's meeting and said to spread the message.

That article hits half of the issue. Its not just ego. Its revenue.
Everyone knows this, and its been reiterated here 1000 times, RTO 5 is not about collaboration, its about justifying realty, fixing Mayor O'Connors deficit, and lining The Prince Of Darkness's pocket.
Anyone who downvotes this comment is obviously a manager/exec that hates his family, lives only for profit, and is one with the squirrel hill people.

Unfortunately, I can’t seem to get an answer from my boss, whether I can work from home or not due to the parkway east construction. There is no way I’m getting up and leaving my house by 4:30am in the morning to get to work on time.

Like half of the entire business goes offline around 1pm-2pm now. Because people just leave early. Hope that's what they were wanting.
