Just saw this movie and it’s about Verizon. The gist of it is a company laying off employees and everyone is on the chopping block, even the ones who don’t expect it. And the ones who get let go get a small severance and struggle to find work.

Your vacation balance will be paid out the next normal paycheck after your off payroll date and the severance is above an beyond your vacation time payout and will be another payroll period after vacation is paid out at the earliest
