Buy our Cars and Trucks, just don’t drive them.

No fix available. Keep making your payments while driving a rental. So sad.

Ford is telling 4,653 Bronco Sport and Maverick owners to stop driving their vehicles immediately. The truck and SUV might have front lower control arm ball joints that were not assembled correctly. If they fail while the vehicle is being driven, drivers could lose steering control. This significantly increases the risk of a crash.

The recall impacts 2021 to 2026 models and Ford is advising owners to check online to see if their vehicle is included in the campaign. If it is, the vehicle will be towed to a dealership for inspection and repair. Some customers will also have the option of having their vehicle inspected at home via mobile service technicians.

The recall hasn’t been posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration yet, so details are limited. However, the automaker said “dealers will visually inspect the front lower control arm ball joint assembly on both the left and right sides, and repair, as necessary at no cost to the customer.”

It sounds like the automaker doesn’t have a fix at the moment as they noted repairs will be made at a “future date.” Ford also said “rentals are available at no cost” to owners of vehicles that fail the inspection.

Massive Ford recalls are exposing a disaster dealers can’t hide

Ford is facing a growing nightmare as massive recalls, expensive repairs, and reliability complaints continue spreading across America. Thousands of owners are discovering that some vehicles they trusted are now turning into financial disasters filled with breakdowns, warning lights, and terrifying repair costs. Dealers are quietly struggling to calm angry customers while mechanics warn that certain models may only get worse as they age. Older drivers especially are starting to question whether Ford still builds vehicles tough enough to last long term. And according to insiders, the recall chaos surrounding some of these vehicles could become even more damaging before 2026 is over.

John Deere Recalls Hundreds of Employees

John Deere is recalling employees across three U.S. facilities. Nearly 50 workers will return in April, adding to over 300 recalled in 2026. This follows increased demand in construction, forestry, and drivetrain production. The company previously laid off over 2,000 jobs in 2024 and continued cuts into 2025. Tariffs and legal challenges, including a right-to-repair settlement, still impact the outlook.

Ford ought to tell prospective buyers that Ford is going to end all vehicle production and focus making money

on repairing all Fords vehicle recalls. That will keep Ford busy with endless business for years. That's where the real money is. Ford can also jack up the cost of repair parts by 125% to quickly increase profits. Say a much sought after Ford repair part currently costs 25 bucks. Well Ford could easily jack that repair part up to $56.25 and since its in deamnd people are going to pay it.

Iowa recalls

John Deere has recalled 245 workers in Iowa after mass layoffs. They'll be back on the job this month and next.

Prompted by weaker demand, a lagging agricultural economy and Trump administration tariffs on equipment, John Deere laid off workers across the Midwest last fall, including in Iowa.

Where's Pontiac GPS at on this one?

Shouldn't their super sophisticated automated tests have caught this? I guess they're too busy playing politics to preserve their easy jobs of maintenance and support. There's a lot of money behind this failure.

"Imagine producing an engine so poor that it's led to over 600,000 vehicles being recalled and has been responsible for a dozen crashes and injuries, and you'll be in GM's shoes."

Today, I found out what the extra 3 dozen sheet metal sc--ws and 5 rolls of duct tape are for, listed as standard equipment on my 2019 Taurus

Ford Recalls 102,000 Cars After Doors Start Falling Apart.

Trim Troubles Hit Ford's Final Taurus Generation
Ford Motor Company has issued a recall affecting 102,000 Taurus sedans manufactured between 2016 and 2019 due to B-pillar door trim pieces that may detach while driving. The defective trim on both driver and passenger sides can create potential road hazards when it breaks free during normal vehicle operation.

The problem stems from a manufacturing process change that eliminated hand rollers previously used to ensure proper adhesion of the trim pieces. Vehicle owners have reported wind noise as an early warning sign of failing trim attachments before they fall off completely. Ford has had over 450 warranty claims related to failing door trim on Taurus models so far. If your vehicle is affected, tough luck. Ford says parts to remedy the situation are not yet available, but owners will be notified when they are.

Another Entry in Ford's Record-Breaking Recall Year
This Taurus recall adds to Ford's unprecedented 2025 performance, with 90 recalls issued by July setting an industry record for any automaker in a full year. The cumulative impact has affected over 4 million Ford and Lincoln vehicles across 82 separate recalls through June.

Ford's biggest single recall this year involved 850,318 vehicles worldwide, including popular models like the F-150, Bronco, and Explorer. That massive action targeted defective fuel pumps in 2021-2023 Bronco, Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, and Super Duty pickups, along with 2021-2022 F-150, Mustang and Navigator models. Additional recalls have addressed brake failure risks in roughly 123,000 vehicles and malfunctioning rearview cameras across multiple Ford models.

Ford should just give their vehicles away for free and mark up repair parts by 900%

With Ford giving away their vehicles for free, this would eliminate Ford having to deal with Recalls which is like flushing good money down the old toilet. With no more responsibility for recalls, this would turn into an instant cash cow for Ford.
Who needs Dave Calhoun to come up with brilliant ideas like this!

Ford recalls nearly 2 million vehicles for rear-view camera issue. Enough with CEO Farley. It's time to bring in Dave Calhoun.

Dave Calhoun will put Ford up on blocks for ever. Just like he did at Boeing.

Ford has issued another recall.

The Michigan carmaker recalled 1.9 million vehicles because rear-view cameras could display inverted, distorted, or blank images, according to a September 4 filing with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The recall covers various models from 2015 through 2019, including the Lincoln MKC, Lincoln Navigator, Mustang, F-450, F-550, Expedition, and Edge.

The recall includes about 1.45 million vehicles in the United States, 122,000 in Canada, and around 300,000 in other markets, Reuters reported. In April, Ford recalled 160,000 vehicles from 2015 for rear-view camera failures.

Here is the full list of affected models:

F-450 SD - 2015-2019

Transit Connect - 2015-2018

Lincoln MKC - 2015-2019

F-550 SD - 2016-2019

Transit - 2016-2019

F-350 SD - 2015-2019

Econoline -2017-2019

Lincoln Navigator - 2015-2017

Expedition - 2015-2017

F-250 SD - 2015-2019

Mustang - 2015-2019

Edge - 2015-2018

Ranger - 2019

The measure comes after a recent wave of recalls . In August, Ford recalled nearly 500,000 vehicles for possible brake fluid leaks, more than 355,000 trucks for an instrument panel display issue, more than 213,000 vehicles for faulty tail lights, and 100,900 vehicles for risk of an airbag tear. In July, Ford recalled more than 850,000 cars in the U.S. because of a potential fuel pump failure, AP reported.

In November, Ford received a $165 million penalty after an NHTSA investigation found the company failed to recall vehicles with defective rearview cameras in a timely manner, Reuters reported.

Ford 2026 New Models - Nothing New

It's sad to see that Ford has nothing new to offer to the consumers. They are too busy working on repairs and recalls.

All of the Ford 2026 vehicles are still look the same as they were the past 4 years. No new innovations and no new designs that would interest the consumers.

Recalls can be prevented if Ford was not so Siloed. Dark Instrument Panel

This is sad, I reported many bugs (Jira’s) 3+ years ago when I worked as Ford as an Engineer. Then I was laid off (Paid to much?)

Wish Ford best of luck, but change is needed. Job market is bad,

I just saw this recall tonight on the news. I reported this with the Lightening 150 as the Cluster would just go dark multiple times when checking out the mule. Submitted logs and informed management. The bug left our group to who knows where. Obviously it was not followed up on.
