Effective 4/1 , every reps account assignments will be slimmed down to 20-40 accounts in total. The remainder will be moved to inside sales. Expect more layoffs, compensation will be moved to net new client acquisition (make the same but you have to convince new businesses to work with this horrendous business - in other words , make a lot less). Good luck everyone. I feel sorry for all the great customers that will no longer have the coverage they need to support them. This is embarrassing.

Kauai Coffee Company will close its Kalaheo operations. This closure will eliminate 136 jobs. Employee terminations will occur from April 18 to May 2, 2026. The company is negotiating a new lease for its coffee farm. The company cites an involuntary landlord-related situation.

Initial unemployment claims in California decreased last week. The U.S. Department of Labor reported this data. New jobless claims dropped to 42,065 for the week ending February 28. They indirectly announced layoffs, and eventually it will. Why to rush and go into legal problems. They will announce results and after all calculation and potential legal issues, they will do layoff. May be it can take couple of weeks.

The contract will be revoked and all the people servicing FT will lose their jobs, that's how this farce is going to end. They keep firing experienced people for a bit of saving and hiring unqualified juniors in their place. This is not a valid strategy and both the clients and FT feel that, and it's already happening. I wish it wasn't so but it will happen sooner or later.

Let me explain how it works here. First, actual performance is irrelevant. The people who work the hardest and produce the most are seen as threats, so they get cut, while the mediocre ones who keep their heads down and do not rock the boat stay. That is the goal: mediocrity across the board. Second, if you refuse to bow to a manager who has no business leading, you are done. They will find a way to get rid of you, and when there is no legitimate case, they cheat. They will lie, plant stories, and turn your own team against you. I have seen it happen to three people, good people who simply would not accept abuse. This is not an exception. This is the entire system.

I got an offer, but I'm a bit scared to leave my current job even for better money because, what happens if layoffs start and I'm one of the newest hires? I'm just wondering how often do layoffs happen and if I'm among the last to have joined, how much danger would I be in?

I spent years at Humana and genuinely loved chunks of it. The mission, the work, some of the people. But the last couple years were rough. The workload became impossible, the appreciation dried up, and the manager we had, I've never seen someone less suited to lead. He ran through good people like they were nothing. I went to management repeatedly, told them I was overwhelmed, and offered solutions that would help everyone. Each time they found a reason to say no. It was either too hard, or too different, or not how we do things. Eventually I left. Now I'm watching what's happening from a distance and all I can say is I am so glad to be out.

With so many contradicting stories, I have no idea what to think anymore.
