or does it feel like policies and procedures change on a daily basis?
There was a time when I genuinely believed this company valued its people. That feeling is long gone. Now we are just waiting for the next layoff announcement and bracing ourselves to train the people who will eventually replace us. I won't even mind all that much when my time comes.
We all know this is far from over, so when will it continue?
I'm starting to go crazy trying to keep all the rumors sorted and figuring out what could be true and what's definitely not. It's exhausting.
I have been at Open Text for a while, and I still can't tell if leadership has any kind of long term strategy or if we are all just responding to whatever crisis popped up most recently. My previous employer had plenty of problems, but at least they had a roadmap. Here, it feels like we are always reacting to something and never actually moving forward.
I've heard some people had to wait for a few months and I'm having trouble believing that.
Do we think the project will be completed on schedule, or is it heading toward another FNV4 situation?
Meaning, has anybody heard anything about layoffs lately?
You gotta be freaking kidding me.
After 6+ months of torture, we gotta endure 3 more months of this bullsh-t????
Fidelity seriously needs to prioritize how it's affecting mental health of associates.
FIS is on its way to bankruptcy.
Norcross ran company by M&A and hiding the financials.
After WorldPay disaster, FIS tried to fool Wall St. by acquiring Global Payments.
But deal was leaked and did not go thru.
This company is built on Financial networking nothing else.
The product offering are outdated and have very bad reputation in market.
If you own stock then do yourself a favor by selling it now.
and $$$ has to come from somewhere. things are bad right now.
Yahoo Finance: "Boston Scientific (BSX) and Abbott (ABT) are appearing on recent near-low screens." - OK, we get it. It's bad. Not sure about layoffs tho...
Are remote folks forced to be on camera for full length of shift???
Is camera recording AFTER shift is over?
Is the company phone actively streaming everything?
Anyone who can help answer this?
How much more do you think the company will shut down with GTP coming online?
That's it that's my post. Somehow we lost this. I think all of us have a hunch why.
Not to add fuel to the fire on here - but while most people worry about if they will have a job, some higher-ups were listed on this page.
Business as usual for them. Guessing they didn't use AI for the transactions to delight the executives?

Noticed several different leaders (mostly Directors) had their title in Outlook/Teams changed to “CW Optum Business Leader-Requisition.”
Does anyone know what this means and if it has anything to do with impending layoffs?
Some MD's have saved their bootlickers by moving them around to other people under Nawani but data team members n Markets and Banking and International has been hit. That's all I know.. Not sure who or how many or what titles
I was just informed that it’s being recommended that I be placed on a coaching plan. I wanted to better understand the expectations and implications of this process. Specifically, should I view this as developmental support, or does failure to meet the outlined metrics potentially put my employment at risk?
The problem isn’t just one bad decision. It’s weak direction, poor follow through, and leadership that doesn’t inspire much confidence. Does anybody actually still see a future here?
Have people already been notified?
Not the usual "every other Tuesday" thing, but anything more substantial all of us should worry about?
Do we have any idea how many are still left to be laid off?
Not for good, of course, but is there any chance we'll go back to having one major round a year and being done with it?

It clearly falls outside the confines of the CHIP Act intent.
Article also points out how utterly ridiculous the idea of a "quantum chip foundry" is in 2026.
That’s what makes all of this so hard. I actually like what I do. Watching what’s been happening here, and seeing a place that used to be great get systematically torn down piece by piece, really breaks my heart.
Belleville High School students protested district budget cuts on Friday morning. Approximately 100 students staged a walkout and rally. The Board of Education decided to lay off 29 staffers. These cuts are intended to address a $3 million deficit. Students expressed concern over losing teachers and mental health services.

I remember having job security once upon a time. We switched to a constant threat of layoffs too easily. It bothers me how all of us just accept that this is normal, when it's anything but.
Heard from area VP that Q2 sales is looking bad and people are starting to pull in Q3 sales numbers. Looks like this is going to spiral down to year end with no actual growth. Second half of year will suffer due to pull in price increases.
Any insights on any new suspicious things happening at imperial?
Just the new division?
Not sure whether the Splunk acquisition has done much, if anything for Cisco's bottom line. Anyone know anything 'bout what will happen to the "Splunksters"?
It sounds like there was an email from higher ups admitting some kind of fault or issues? Any details for the laid off among us?
OpenAI failing is a mathematical certainty, what happens to Oracle as a result?

What program do you use frequently that has a terrible user interface design? Our time writing system is just terrible. So many clicks and pop up windows. Very unintuitive.
If Iran severs the internet cables in the deep water as they have threatened, what does that mean for companies in the US. Would India be cut off from US. I can't imagine the chaos that would create for companies. Most of our servers hosting GIT and other development applications are here in the US. That would pretty much cut them off, as well as others, from really being productive and who knows for how long that would last for. Is this our achilles heal. Are we foolishly offshoring work.
I never thought it would come to this - me hoping to be selected for layoffs after so many years.
