Managers are not working
Managers, mdirectors,, VPs,,, advisory engineers,, “scientists” are not doing any work in the office and they are alllllllllll getting passes by their supervisors Morale is at an all time low
Check OUTLOOK Calendar for future events.
I checked Outlook instead of worday and I literally have no T-Mobile scheduled events for the next few months, but when I go back, I see events on every single month like the stupid a-s powwow, and the all hand meetings. none of that sh-t is scheduled in my Outlook calendar for the next few months. I think this means I’m gonna get laid off. Thoughts? I am regular non loyalty care rep. PLEASE LIST IF YOU ARE LOYALTY OR NON-LOYALTY CARE REP WHEN REPORTING IF YOU see future calendar events.
Sales are way down
Sales at my location have been incredibly slow lately. I mean, we've had slowdowns before, but this is on a whole new level. Are others dealing with the same thing or is this an us problem?
This is what worries me
For workers in white-collar fields like tech, consulting, and media, it's an especially weird moment — fewer layoff headlines, but still difficult conditions when it comes to landing a new job. The larger companies may be done cutting for the moment, but they're not ready to rehire aggressively in the parts of the economy that tend to drive long-term productivity and wage growth.

Small starup
I got offered a job in a small startup. Less than 30 employees. They're doing great right now, and the offer is really good, but I'm so worried. While job security here is an issue, with startups the whole company can go under in a heartbeat. I have no idea what to do.
What's happening with layoffs?
Not many mentions lately, is that a good sign?
A high-performing store
My store is high-performing, do we have anything to worry about? I remember reading a while ago somebody complained about being blindsided with closing since the location was high-performing, but I thought the person was trolling. Does it ever happen that such a store is closed for whatever reason?
Tumult in America
America is at a breaking point and we all feel it. My heart goes out to my fellow employees living through these times, lord knows our employer isnt helping things. Pray for peace and less corporate headcount savings.
Layoffs next week
Very dangerous
Why Microsoft Employees Over 40 Fear They're Being 'Targeted' in January 2026 Layoffs

Laid off today
Anyone know the extent of today's layoffs?
ELI5 What is happening in the IT department?
No FTE opportunities, management is.. aloof
What a shame!
This all started with Babb when he move the corporate headquarters to Dallas to spend time with his grandchildren. Then he put Farmer in place and he is totally incompetent at running the organization. Now everyone will lose their jobs and he will ride off with millions. What a shame for the employees that care about the organization, the history and their customers.
No New Initiatives
Lots of projects are made stagnant with word "No New initiatives" or approvals required.
These projects are the major targets for upcoming layoffs
ONHD days numbered
Funding that was bragged about before shutdown is now gone
Huge Money being spent in CZ
Senior leadership jumping to other sites
No news on what were doing after news of funding lost. Iguess it takes a while to identify the bare minimum personnel to keep the lights on long enough for CZ to take over.
Layoffs
It’s very quiet in our area. I am wondering what’s going on. Awhile back people were talking their heads off now it’s quiet as a mouse around here. Work is is slimming down and all is being said is leadership is busy. Something seems off
Eager beaver and toxic manager posts
Is there a way to report such cases to anyone without any serious consequences???
It's frustrating how managers are blatantly using these tactics.
I am in a similar situation where this new person who have no access to system whatsoever, is suddenly been asked to "take the lead"
Are all you lifetime, loyal Walgreens employees ready for the things .........
Pretty hard to work in an environment like you do...wondering what is happening or going to happen. Sad
Next round
Are we sure it's even happening?
Ford leadership is terrible
When are heads going to roll for the ev fiasco??
feast or famin
last week in a one2one my manager strongly hinted we finna have layoffs in the third week of feb she said to keep my head up and document all my work also i been taken screenshots anytime a teammate don’t respond in a reason able time like ill send a slack once then twice then an email and if 4+ hours pass ill save that evidence so if we miss deadlines you best bet it ain’t because of me
figure others may want to do the same it’s a cold heartless world out there and our industry is really suffering right now PROTECT URSELF AT ALL COSTS!!!
Not meeting the 40 Think hrs
Never not met my 40 hrs, wondering if this is really that serious?
Anyone else holding their breath for next week, 1/6/2026?
We’ll finally see what the big R&D reorg brings…or takes away.
CIU
Has anyone had experience with having a meeting with the compliance investigation unit that can give me insight? We’ve had several on our team go through these meetings and end up fired due to our previous manager and it is making our region very nervous. A lot of it is due to changes in leadership and different preferences for documentation. The previous manager that has now left was…. special to say the least. Should those of us with these meetings be worried and start job searching?
I saw Nick Shirley standing outside of Intel
He was asking where all the chips are. Is Intel just another imigration scheme at the expense of taxpayers?
2026 Q1 reprieve or calm before the storm?
What do people think? A pause to see if the business turns around or even more cuts to come?
Who’s struggling?
I'm curious about how many stores are facing challenges due to a lack of hours while trying to prepare for inventory.
Any word on AIP?
Has anyone heard about funding pools? It seems weird that it’s January and we don’t even know if the bonus pools are going to be funded.
Institutional knowledge means nothing these days
It’s crazy to see that someone who knows the company inside and out and has years of experience can be let go just like a newbie. How did we get to a place where tenure and expertise don’t matter at all?
Can you be laid off while on vacation?
Sorry if it's a stupid question, this is my first proper job and I'm not sure how things work yet.
Is this place still standing?
If so, how??
Can somebody please tell me what's the rule of 75?
Heard it mention in regards to layoffs and I have no idea what it could be. Google says it has something to do with revenue growth rate and profit margin but that makes no sense whatsoever. And in case it's not obvious, I'm relatively new here (just under a year).
Are we opening the layoffs season for 2026?
I haven't seen anybody else announce cuts so early in the year. Aren't we special?
Check your 401k holdings...
I missed the communication that all my well-performing mutual funds would be mapped to a couple of ETFs, a target date fund and a generic bond fund. My well diversified portfolio that's averaged 12% annually, wiped clean by the geniuses running this ship like it's the Titanic. No more individual fund choices unless you go with the self directed brokerage account option, which I will be doing.
Nearly $500k between me and my spouse completely trashed by the geniuses on the 10th floor.
Office Renovation
If Cigna is in such financial straits, why are they leasing more office space and spending millions upon millions of dollars renovating offices that nobody wants to be in? Make it make sense, please!
