Seriously. Just look at LinkedIn profiles of past upper management and others and you'll see how they took jobs in the industry immediately.
How many weeks of severance based on band level?
If you’re part of the 2/19 layoffs with a final termination date of April 25, how many weeks severance are you receiving after April 25? The documentation shows minimums for each band level. For example 16 weeks min for Band 4. Have other Band 4s all... — read more

March Dates
Does anyone have insight on dates in March and what the actual termination date could be?
Anyone have today's tally?
Nothing going on where I am. Based on the little info trickling in, seems like quiet layoffs this time. Not minimizing how awful it is for anyone impacted, just saying this round feels completely different from the last ones.
It’d be funny if it weren’t sad
So many people getting bent out of shape, and for what? No layoffs. There’s a lesson in there somewhere.
Silent day?
Looks so silent as I start my day. Anything going on guys?

Sleepless night
Tonight will be "fun," considering I didn't sleep at all last night, and something tells me I'm not the only one. I'm now wondering, is there even a slight chance that this will be it? That after this round, we'll be able to move on from layoffs at... — read more
Bought PTO

Thread for 2/26 Updates and Information
I just wanted to create a space to keep everything related to 2/26 in one place. I don’t have any updates yet on what’s coming tomorrow (if anything).
Cigna to lay off 2,000 workers worldwide (worldwide?)

Good luck tomorrow
I hope those who want out get the news they're waiting for, and those who need to stay get overlooked. I'm in the second group, so it's going to be a rough night.

Why not offer VRP to everyone who qualify?
There are no roles that can’t be back filled so why not take volunteers to assist in the mission of reducing workforce. Many would take it and be gone already.
I don't get it
Are we in massive debt over HIH? Is that why so many quality people are being laid off? To pay off that debt?
Is this the correct number? 500 more to go?
There’s been about 1,500 let go in the first two rounds So if the “2000 employees by end of February” is accurate, then yes, there will be more. OP: @ar+1kj82pds4
Does anyone know when the IFP business is being sold?
The rumors are that will be sometime in 2026.
Layoffs 2/26
Will layoffs definitely happen 2/26? Is this the last round for the “2,000 employees”? Does anyone have any insight on which areas?
Do you lose severance
Do you lose severance if you get a job outside of Cigna after you are given your termination letter but before your termination date?
How do you handle being made to train your replacement?
It's happening to more and more people on my team. I have no idea what I'd do in that position, but it just feels so cruel and demeaning.
Reorg Ideas
Do you guys have any Reorg Ideas? Let's share them here. I'll start: Fire C-Level folks and replace them with folks who are competent.
Worth joining back ?

I'm beginning to think I only imagined this place was once better

Because it sure feels like it to me. Some big, some small, but always layoffs.
