And there it is, buckle up for this 24 month wild ride.

I’ll sum the email up for you quickly:

“You American employees are too expensive and we need to make the stock price go up, we’re going to be spending the next 24 months laying off as many of you as possible to be replaced with AI and/or cheap India labor”

I appreciate the heads up, but a 2 year timeline is crazy.

Blue Diamond details phased layoffs at Sacramento plant before 2026 closure

Blue Diamond has released a timeline detailing upcoming layoffs at its Sacramento factory. These job reductions are part of a larger plan leading to the complete closure of the facility. The company intends to fully shut down its Sacramento operations by 2026. This announcement provides clarity for employees regarding the phasing out of positions over the coming years. The layoffs are a direct consequence of the planned factory closure.

San Ramon Move to Houston Timing July 2026?

Found this embedded in another post and elevating here. Strange comment on this year, which is not possible, but it goes on to say the vast majority are expected in houston July 1st:

The revised timeline presents notable implications for San Ramon. According to one of the decks shared with our team, the guidance indicates that relocations should occur "ASAP," with the majority of transitions finalized by the end of this year. However, there are specific exceptions extending into 2026.

For employees with school-aged children and confirmed roles within the new organization, relocation is expected to take place during the summer of 2026. After July 1, 2026, the only personnel remaining in San Ramon will be those scheduled to exit the company by year-end. These individuals will be responsible for managing transition-related activities.

We’ve been informed that there will be no exceptions for employees continuing with the company to remain in San Ramon beyond July 2026. Most VPs overseeing personnel have access to a standardized Q&A document. If you have questions, please reach out directly to your group’s VP for clarification.

While we understand this may be a significant change, remaining in San Ramon is not a viable option moving forward.

Nike SAP May 2025 layoff – status of SEC / EMEA upgrade?

I was part of the RIF in May 2025 and have been watching from the sidelines ever since. I’m still interested in how the SEC program is faring now that so many people have left.

Accenture was meant to pick up most of the workload after the cuts. Have they managed to keep the SEC and EMEA conversion, along with the related upgrades, on the original timeline? Also curious how the other verticals are being supported, especially the legacy systems in the SAP space.

Any anonymous insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Should have taken the package

Anyone else filling like they should have taken the package. On the verge of just putting my two weeks in. Management sc--wed up big time on this reorg and no transition made the stand up of the new org a damn mess. End of the day leadership will not take accountability but will continue to get fat bonuses. Almost so horrible all you can do is laugh at this point.
