AT&T wants to be like Amazon, where is the increased salary, bonus, RTU to match?
SUNW has contributed $40b net profit since the merger. This is actual revenue and not pie in the sky "booked revenue". SUNW hardware is the ORCL ca$h cow which pays your bonus, RSUs, and pay raises. Explains the stock price rise.

So the end of year review with my manager is coming up in a couple weeks. Looking for some advice on how I should handle the news of no raise and no promotion again this year?
Should I express my displeasure to my manager? Or should I hide it and pretend to be happy with the pittance of RSUs they have awarded me?
I cannot find the thread this was being discussed on but there is some confusion about whether vesting stops at the notification date or the termination date. So I asked HR directly. At least in the US, we will get any RSUs that vest prior to the termination date (in my case 9/22). If you are in a different location you may want to confirm with HR.
I was in the Fusion Org and would have hit my 25 year anniversary next month. Overall my immediate team lost about a 1/3 of its headcount.
Finally take care of yourselves. Oracle itself had its goods and bads like most things, but I was truly fortunate to work with some amazing people for this long. Remember that EAP benefits are still there (for 3 months) if you need them.
4000 RIFed times average salary of $100,000=$400M include
4000 times vested RSUs which are clawed back on an average $150,000 = $600M
Bottom line Savings of ~ $1B.
I’ve noticed a few people suggest they were laid off just before an employment anniversary or milestone. Curious is any of these people are in the same boat as me, where you were terminated with a couple days of RSUs vesting?

RSUs really gone for good? Did Jacob actually say we’re doing away with them permanently as part of comp? WTF.
If there was ever any doubt ILMN is a coffin, this nails it shut. From here on out you’re expected to take below-market comp for the “privilege” of working in that coffin. The mission is now supposed to replace equity ---- which here is maybe 10% of comp, while at other companies RSUs make up 50–80%.
