My old Project Mgr was told Wednesday that his last day is 3/6. Anyone else hear any other rumblings?

When resigning are EM employees required to give 2 weeks notice? What happens if you don’t? Does it forfeit anything?

I'm just wondering, in case I'm hit next time. Is it immediate, next pay period, or even later?

Got laid off from the NY office a while back and only got 60 days notice. Apparently NY requires 90 days notice… has anyone experienced this ?

CHS Northwest announced the sale of four Washington stores. This includes the Bellingham Farm & Home store. A total of 38 employees will be laid off across these locations. Layoffs for the Bellingham store will take effect April 19. The company hopes stores remain open under new ownership.

I was notified that my position was being eliminated around 6am, before I even took a sip of coffee. SMH.

Sounds like the board and SB are expecting some sort of financial difficulties from now to 6 to 8 months from now. Just what I got from those announcements/buttering us up.

I care about the work I do at Truist and genuinely value my team. That said, after several years in the same position without a clear path to the next step in my career, I’ve started to feel stalled. There hasn’t been an opportunity to grow into a new role or take on responsibilities that align with where I want to go professionally. At this stage in my career, advancement and development matter a great deal to me, and I’m beginning to question whether staying at Truist supports those goals.

If I do receive an offer elsewhere, is providing two weeks’ notice always the best approach? What are the potential consequences of resigning without notice—for example, informing my manager late on a Friday that I’m leaving effective immediately?

Bonus landed. Given they sc--wed me on Merit and Bonus... well they can forget me giving a 2 week notice. I would give notice today but I'm going to leave at a time of my choosing, when its the worst possible time to leave for management, that's when i say this is my last day. Karma

My last day of non-working notice period is on Friday..I resigned and am going elsewhere and my notice period was converted to non-working notice with pay and benefits intact through this Friday. There is a 5 day gap with when I start with the new company and will be on their insurance from Day 1. Will Citi's insurance coverage expire at midnight on Friday or does it carry forward till the end of the month?

If we're going to have layoffs in March, why does the Warn Act not have TransUnion listed in their January report?

I plan on giving notice at some point next week. My notice period is 60 days. I'm only going to give two weeks. I know they'll claw back my LTIs that vested within the past year and I won't be "re-hirable", but is there anything else I should be concerned about? Since they announced the layoff at 3pm on Weds, and laid everyone off by 2pm Thursday, wouldn’t that violate the WARN Act? Don’t they have to give a 60 day notice?

In workday there is a section for notice period. Depending on your title you may have to provide notice of you quit or retire. Mine says no notice. Does anyone know for sure of that means I can retire and walk out the door the same day? Not a question I really want to ask HR.

WARN notice posted for Connecticut yesterday. Do you think all of those people were already notified?

It has been mentioned that layoffs will occur every other Thursday (Off-pay weeks), but someone said it was EVERY Thursday… I guess we will need to wait for later Today to confirm. Has someone been laid off Today in a pay week? Or out of those days?
