What is the idea behind making mangers IC. It cant make sense paying ICs manager money, just to protect their "reports number". I see a lot of them doing not much on great pay. Seems like a win being made IC. As a manager I would love it!

What do you think what will happen with AI? Are tens of billions of dollars (we invested in it) ever going to produce any value for us? What about all other AI related companies and products? Do you see this as some kind of a Scam?

I’ve seen some go into consulting or startups, but others just disappear from the industry altogether. It's like people either reinvent themselves or burn out completely.
