Hey everyone, curious how you're preparing for the layoff other than updating resume, applying to jobs. My first layoff since I'm super early still in my career, and very worried.
Cigna Lifers, tell me how layoffs work?
I've been in Express Scripts for 1.5 months. Would love to make it to 16 months....as I can't really accept an early layoff if that is possible. If I feel a layoff is pending, I will file an FMLA.
I lasted 6 months
My manager was horrible. Never onboarded me, had unrealistic expectations during my learning phase. HR never did anything when I complained and I basically felt pushed out. JT was a toxic horrible work environment! I had chest pains every day working... — read more

New to Cigna, here are my thoughts
I know there is a little bit of a honeymoon period for a new hire but I think that coming from Anthem, it's a little bit more polished and less sh*tty culture. Ultimately, I always take every job year by year and for this job I can assume there is a... — read more

Cigna, why isn't anyone discussing their layoff?
Cigna recently laid off, what some are saying is 4% of it's workforce with NO WARNING. No one is taking about thus disgusting act.
I don't think there is anyone who misses working from office
I certainly don't miss it, although, working in the office has some advantages. I think there are very few people who look forward to returning to the office. Am I wrong?
back to office email
How does everyone feel about the email from the CEO about sending some of us back to the office? I already know of people who are planning on quitting. Good people too. I think this is a way to make people quit instead of laying them off.

I'd rather look for an opportunity in another company

Is such an expectation from analysts a little too optimistic? We’ll see the quarterly results in a few days, but I wonder what you think.
Basis for improvements
I don't want to work for a company where I can mostly expect only bad news. The basis for improvement and change for the better, above all, should be the leadership that has a vision, a clear goal, competence and the will to make the conditions... — read more
Cigna Funds Insurrectionists
Today we learned that Cigna funds politicians who supported the Jan 6 insurrection. Everytime they ask me to take "ethics" training, I will think of the raging hypocrisy of the senior leadership at Cigna. Ethics is good for the peons *(i.e. rat... — read more

Is Cigna still mandating that you turn your monitor vertical when you are on your computer?
