Heard a rumor that around 400 nurses were taken off of salary? Anyone else hear about this?

Ipcm/um nurse here. Changed from salary to hourly.
Appeals nurse here. Being made hourly as of next month. Not much explanation. Meeting to tell us with no questions allowed.
Hourly is an excluded category for severance packages, seems right on brand.
