Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

Best decision I ever made was leaving Cigna

Trust me, the grass is definitely greener on the other side! I left Cigna on my own terms and so glad I did. When I look back at the 5 years I gave them, I feel d-mber for every day I stayed in that lifeless place! The new leadership is dreadful at best and surround themselves with people that tell them what they want to hear. Don't sit around waiting on them to lay you off, start making your exit strategy now! There are lots of great companies out there that need your experience!

I left a year ago. Best decision for my health (physical and mental), career and finances. Losing some money on stock but at risk of a having a stroke or heart attack had I stayed.

Don’t let fear hold you back. Don’t sell yourself on the story that you can’t do better than Cigna. You can and you will and if you don’t, at least you got yourself out and that is a step in the right direction.

I can’t even begin to emphasize how much I relate to this. This has been the worst year of my life and I would do anything to get myself on that lay off list. F*** this soulless corporation. I always joke about how I can’t wait until my job is replaced by AI. Let these id--t members talk to robots!!

Congratulations on your new job, but I want to get laid off AND find another job. I am sure I’m not alone on this.
