It looks like the job market is not as bad as many people keep saying. Most of the people who were laid off from my group have managed to land something new already - and it hasn't been that long. I don't know if this is true for everybody, but I don't see why it wouldn't be.

What is your job role if I may ask? Is it technology ?
It largely depends on your role and what your situation is. I know people in my role who were laid off and had to settle for lower pay or hybrid roles. When I landed the role I'm in now, I had several job prospects with interviews over two months. The opportunities to apply were many. I've been watching the postings since the start of this year, and the number of roles compared to the last time I applied for jobs is significantly lower. I started actively applying this month. I'm hopeful that there's something else out there for me but I know it is a very tight market for my area right now. The job market can't be like this forever, and for the time being, I do have a job, even if it is a sh---y one. So I count myself lucky.
