Most states have a law that if they move your position X amount of miles they are legally required to offer you severance. Check your state laws.
Doubtful. I know the hcsc offices in chicago area are not that big.
This is not true. HCSC currently operates its Medicare program in 5 states all of which have current job openings. Some of us are “field staff” which means we meet our groups in person. How can someone in IL meet with their team in WA or CO??
I concur with the previous poster, I am just tired. And we have another twelve months of this to look forward to.
I would wager it’s everyone regardless of location. Perhaps adding a Nashville option if we sell that building to HCSC. Probably also a way to get around severance if it’s “move or quit” but might be getting ahead of ourselves here.
I just am left with the feeling of dread. Will it EVER end? I’m so f——-g tired of this.
Is this just for mainly WFH or everybody even if you are going to the closest office 50% of the time 0
Medicare employees, start looking for a new job now, unless you are willing to relocate at your own expense.
Disappointing but not surprising. We’ve got about a year to remain remote, and I hope the job market is less volatile a year from now…
