Laid off - Retaliation?

I disputed my performance review last year. It was a bit contentious. I did manage to get a meets on my review this year. Also, my team is hiring within the US (P4). I am a P5 as well as over 40. Is it worth pursuing a legal route or raising a... — read more

ORM layoffs?

Has anyone heard of upcoming ORM layoff dates? Hearing it will happen in the next month or so but curious if anyone heard anything regarding the topic.

Results of layoffs

I am dealing with new people at WF who replaced really, really good employees in the last year. The displaced folks were told "we're upgrading the position, many will be retained " but then WF got rid of almost all of them in their position. ... — read more

Conduct Management Hit

Layoffs are being done by highest tenure according to management. Lost several people in Intake and Research in Conduct Management. Coincidentally they've been hiring in India for these positions, but I'm sure its just a coincidence.

Location strategy

How can senior managers displace people with a straight face for location strategy when executives are sitting in non hub location. Example Joe Bernardo is in Ohio for Fraud Claims management. Never moved to a hub. But doesn’t have a problem... — read more

I guess it is all about priorities

Apparently there is not enough money to pay employees, so people keep getting laid off every two weeks. But somehow there is enough for a $40 BILLION share repurchase. And here I was, thinking we were struggling. Make it make sense, please. For... — read more

Do they generally have your manager contact you or do they simply send an email? Is it first thing in the morning or do they dribble them out throughout the day? TIA!

Is location strategy even real?

Has anyone been asked to move yet? Is this just a scare tactic to get people to quit and they won’t actually enforce it fully? I keep getting told I’ll be impacted, but no timeframe or details at all

You are a transaction

You’re not family - you’re a transaction. Your employer might act like they care, but the moment you cost them money, become a PR risk, or even just step on the wrong clause in your 1000-page contract, they’ll drop you without hesitation. Period. You... — read more

WF Engineering

I’m honestly shocked by how many outdated, out-of-touch engineers are at WF. Some clueless managers even go around calling themselves engineering leaders, and there are engineers inflating their titles to things like ‘Architect’—it’s a joke. WF... — read more
