I have been recently put on PIP. And in my experience this is based on racism/ s-xism. I have worked for various managers in the company and never received a complaint or a negative feedback. How do I handle this? This job is very important for me.

Central Alabama Water Terminates Workers Amid Bias Allegations
Central Alabama Water laid off 135 employees. Former employees and activists allege racial bias. State Representative Givan claimed employees were fired due to race. A former supervisor reported Black staff received manual labor duties. The company stated layoff demographics mirrored its employee base.

Only stupid people are racist
Be mad at executives. don’t be mad at your Indian coworker or your white coworker for that matter. Just look at the facts: america’s money is getting hoovered up by billionaires. it’s not getting hoovered up by H1Bs.
if you crave control over the situation, it’s time to unionize, not post anonymous racism.
IA/PA demographic changes?
I can’t help but notice that nearly all of the new senior executives hired in 2025 are white men and replacing or layering executives of South Asian descent. What’s going on?

80% is Indian. Where is the diversity?
Argentina vs. India
I'm genuinely wondering, our work is continuously outsourced to many countries with the bulk being to Argentina AND India, but India seems to bear most of the brunt and hate comments. Is it legit because Argentina does a better job than India? Or people just don't like Indians for variety other reasons?
IT who were laid off , how’s your job hunting
It’s honestly disheartening. You’ll see job postings with over 1,700 applicants, sometimes just two days after going live.
So many ghost jobs. So many ghosting recruiters.
And when you do get an interview, the bias and racial discrimination bingo card fills up fast.
If your job hunt’s going better, I salute you. If not, grab a seat. Misery loves memes. ☺️😁

If you are not Indian, forget applying.
In fact, if you already work here, you will soon be laid off.

Enduring racism and microaggressions at HCSC — and now layoffs?
It'd be weird to be quiet about this.
I’ve endured subtle and not-so-subtle racism in my years at HCSC. Microaggressions. Being talked over. Dismissed. Having to defend my competence, explain my presence, constantly prove myself. I got myself in grippy socks a couple of times due to the stress.
I reported things. I followed the “right channels.” I tried to hold people accountable, not because I wanted to be a revolutionary, but because I thought the company cared and I thought it would/could get better.
And now, as layoffs roll out, I find myself wondering: what was all that for? I fought to stay in a place that never really cared about me. Now I see people being walked out with no warning. And I could be next.
HCSC talks about values, but culture lives in how people treat each other, and how leadership responds when they don't. For many of us, the silence has BEEN loud.
