Should I take that as a good sign? Or is it just the calm before the storm?
OT Reddit?
Why are all the Reddit posts on the r/Waterloo page? We need our own page. Would have been eye opening to read through prior to signing my contract. But now I get to sleuth this website and random others for any insights. Huge loss and su-ks for... — read more

SMBC is next or coming up soon
Too many weird financial requests for information from 2-3 years ago. Stop telling us "Audit requests" or "forecast" we are not that stupid, since prior fiscal years have already been audited.
What happened to Sandy Ono?
She was removed from the leadership landing page and linkedin has Dec 2025 as the end of her time here. Seems like more shuffle, more noise and no clarity
Proud to work at OT - sales perspective

New Offices
Where and when will these new offices open that they mention on the RTO email ? Kinda hard to imagine they will spend money on opening offices in the US
Is the current low growth just a temporary result of selling off assets, or is this the new normal for OpenText?
Will Ayman have a plan to switch the company from cost-cutting back to growing revenue? Are customers actually paying extra for the new AI features, or are they just free add-ons to keep people from leaving? I don’t see a way to break out of our... — read more
Look for the exit
Never stop networking and checking job boards even if you're comfortable. A better environment makes all the difference for your mental health. Open Text isn't the end of the road, so plan your next move carefully.
What did you think of the mandatory AI training
I know a lot of people that thought it was a waste of time with a complete random set of videos to watch. No fundaments or structure to really build a knowledge base. I'm guessing Shan picked each and every one of them.
Business Optimization Plan

Did MicroFocus ruin OpenText or did OpenText ruin MicroFocus?
Personally, I think MicroFocus was already ruined financially before the acquisition, while OpenText has suffered taking on massive debt and legacy baggage that has stalled any momentum we had previously with Cloud and Cybersecurity.

If this goes sideways, we foot the bill
Obviously. A history of bad calls that go nowhere means PR fluff has no power left. I'll believe it when I see it. Color me suspicious.
