What are 2025 Layoff Plans?

Isn't Anagnost going to be replaced already? Growth has been flat for years. Bogus financial audit. Another 10-15% RIF?

Millions spent on football invitational in Europe

Maybe we could avoid layoffs and increase sales travel budgets if AD didn't squander millions of dollars on a divisive invitational football matches. Oh yeah and its not very environmentally friendly flying people from all over the world to this... — read more

Market Average Comp, "Unlimited" Vacation

Autodesk's "unlimited" (discretionary) vacation is like having to negotiate with a doctor to grant vacation time when there are already 21 holidays (3 weeks)/year granted that include seven artificial holidays like Autodays, Recharge Day. Other... — read more

January and February are coming up. Soon it will be time for Anagnost-ic to celebrate a 10-15% RIF of his comparatively low-paid "average" workers.

Is Andrew Anagnost well-aligned to support Autodesk's key priorities? Or is he Agnostic as his name suggests?

Hey Carl!! Only 250 layoffs!!

Didn't you want more? Like 5-15%? Anagnost is fairly agnostic about his decision - "we’re focused on ensuring that our resources remain well-aligned to support our key priorities for the coming year". Usual b.s. excuses.

What are the layoff plans for 2023?

Will there be FAANG-style layoffs? Autodesk fell 34% in last year, but their comp is comparably very low to average compared to FAANG. So expenses are more manageable.

2022 layoffs

Autodesk just laid off their entire Client Services teams in Portland and Denver. San Rafael is next. All Client Services support will be done from Bangalore.

Not sure why there was a very light media coverage?

Here it goes anyway... https://www.sfchronicle.com/business/article/Autodesk-lays-off-108-employees-in-San-Francisco-12547181.php Dozens of San Francisco employees of Autodesk were laid off Friday, in line with the company’s previously announced... — read more

Something smells wrong here

If Auotodesk is laying off after "5% growth" it doesn't bode well does it? Or Is that 5% number just B.S.? I don't understand why any company would lay so many off while growing at 5%. Doesn't add up, something smells wrong here.

No worries bro: "To be clear, the restructuring announced today is not related to anything we are seeing in the macro-economic environment. We ended fiscal 2016 on a high note with very strong fourth-quarter billings growth and continued demand for... — read more

Internal communication on Layoffs

Really sorry for everybody affected. Internal communication so far is poor and full of corporate BS. Just watched a video of a senior VP talking for 10 minutes without saying anything. If anybody has more information about which teams and products... — read more

New brighter door opens

I'm also part of the laid off group, after 26 years of service as a software developer there. I agree that things seem a bit messed up. I hope things work out for Autodesk, given all my coworkers and friends that are still left there... some very... — read more

So which products are affected by this?

I wonder which products are affected - are those 900+ people across all segments of the company, or are they trimming down one area in particular?
