So like many I was impacted by the JEs that took place on 2/19. I had been at Cigna for my entire career which got me the full 52 weeks of severance plus the 9 weeks notification period. It’s been 6 weeks since that eventful day and I must say it has been an amazing break from the grind. If all goes well I will be getting paid by my new employer while Cigna pays, this will allow me to collect double salary for the next 54 weeks. I’m writing just to let people know that there is life at Cigna and it can end up being a big mental health and financial win for you!
