Convention
I wish all our customers could see the amount of money this company spends on the convention. I work on it and see the amount of money and entitlement. Over $100 million, luxurious suites, personal drivers for execs, alcohol flowing, private concert (Pink) and arrogance on full display. They share the same message every convention, unveil new commercials and act like it’s all new. We are modernizing, get ready. My wish is they would get called out for spending policyholder money to throw a party for themselves in Las Vegas.
TMobile Lay offs
They just laid off all employ from Chattanooga Callcenter and also laid everyone from Denver call center. Las Vegas Nevada call center lost all SMB coach’s and a few more employees which were all laid of this Tuesday April 7 2026.
Sr Leader Vegas offsite
All Sr Leader in Vegas offsite this week whats happening? Big decisions?
The company appears to be following the playbooks of pyramid scheme companies. They had a party in Las Vegas before, and now in Bangkok.
What could be next?
Well, we didn’t have the money to keep the insurance rates reasonable, but we do have the money to party in Las Vegas!
Viva Las Vegas, Baby! #LeadingWithCompassion
CES 2026
Looking forward to a table full of bluescreens at the CES 2026 exhibition in Las Vegas on January 5th. Anyone want to sell there car and split to cost of a hotel room?
Vegas baby!
Another SKO in vegas!
After the rip roaring success of last year and the positive feedback on SD. It’s hilarious that they’ve chosen to go back to sin city
Las Vegas
My good friend, a RN at Southern Hills Hospital, Las Vegas just got her layoff notice effective 10/3. It’s too bad, she would’ve been vested with the company the following month. (6 years). It’s too bad company’s treat their employees this way. Their focus is on profit, not patient care. I guess now they’ll dump more patients on the limited amount of staff there, but of course, CEO’s will still maintain their pay. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians! They could easily maintain adequate staff by just cutting a few from the top, and keeping the worker bees.
Is the San Diego office still open?
I worked from that office before Covid in the Housecalls department. Is the office still there or has it moved? Is Optum still offering Housecalls to its members? Are they still hiring people to make the Housecalls from the Las Vegas, Texas, and San Diego offices?
Jet Update - October 4th
It's been a a month or so since last update. I would say not heavy travel, but all on just one jet. The prior weekly DC trips seem to have stopped.
N73M:
- A short loop flight (test?) in New England based out of Springfield, MA
Hasn't flown since Sept 8th.
N83M:
- Day trip to Ft. Lauderdale, FL
- Overnight to Costa Rica
- Overnight in Atlanta then day trip to Ft. Lauderdale.
- Day trip to Las Vegas
- Overnight trip to Austin
- 2-night trip to Chicago
N93M:
- No flights since last update. Still on ground in St. Paul.
Note: When the jets get sold and have new tail numbers I won't immediately know it. It is much like a car getting a new license plate when it is sold.
