Waiting for a raise here is a waste of time

I have given up hopes that greedy leaders will decide to give us decent raises. There are two options: go somewhere else because everyone who left got significantly higher wages work only the bare minimum and avoid stress, because we are... — read more

Layoffapalooza

This POS company. They basically liquidated the entire operations department without checking what anyone covers or does. The only person who has CSC access was let go. The person who manages operations finance was let go. The only qualification... — read more

Radio silence since Feb??

Building Closures

Just wondering, with the announcement of the declining losses etc. Surley the company must have saved $$$$$s on the rental/energy/water/maintenance costs on all of the buildings we shut down after they converted a huge wad of us to become virtual... — read more

Reasons why you lost motivation?

1. It makes no difference to your chances of surviving a round of layoffs if you work hard or do nothing. Layoffs at DXC are a numbers exercise, with no consideration for performance. 2. Managers don't care what you're doing, or not doing. They're... — read more

Pay Raise its Nearly mid August

Just send us the email with what percentage we got. Its not complicated we are an IT company. We don't need a call from a manager as time has already run out. We need the figures. Surely if you can't deliver internally how will you deliver... — read more

Get out of this sh%t h0le while there is still time. There are a bunch of opportunities out there, this place is not worth your mental health.

Quality of service to clients

It doesn't seem to me that the leadership cares about the quality of service to clients anymore. Do you too think that it's almost become irrelevant to them?

Most managers have no clue

It can feel kind of liberating to work for someone who has no clue what you do and who also doesn't care about it either... Sometimes it suits me, I am freer to make my own decisions... However, I still think that it can be tedious and frustrating... — read more

Milking the company

Next round of cuts

My question is why do you think it will happen soon? Do some just want to create panic or did I miss something?

Endless cuts crippling long term growth

There are times when precise, targeted cuts can be a good thing, - in cases where a particular unit isn't used or performing for example. But to continuously cut staff who are actively billing is insanity, it only leads to one outcome. That's the... — read more

OK, Oracle had big layoffs, it looks all big tech is bracing for cuts. Walmart cut several hundred in IT, it looks like Verizon is cutting 10% of the consumer group. Banks are cutting left and right. So, what about DXC? When can we expect layoffs?

DXC spins off more businesses that they have no idea how to manage. Such losers…. Execs and Board should be fired.

The orchestra is playing on the Titanic

I used to work in finance here. We got constant calls from bill collectors, DXC owed money to and hadn’t paid. Their billing department used to gatekeeper invoices we owed to vendors. I felt so bad for them. There was a point where the main... — read more
