Do DXC recognise any specific union in the UK? Personally I am a member of Unite but they seem to have done absolutely nothing in recent times. Where are the union(s) in all of this? No payrises.. Etc.. Aren't they meant to have our backs?

There is no point in joining a union if you work for DXC. That said, it's the only company I've ever worked for where I felt that a union might be useful.
Facts, with or without union membership:
- If DXC wants to WFR you, they will
- You will not get a pay rise
- You will be asked to do more work to cover the work of other people who have been WFRd
- Good or bad performance makes no difference, you get nothing
So, even if DXC recognised unions (they don't), what would be the point in joining one - you'd pay a chunk of your salary and get nothing for it, because DXC doesn't care about you, or the unions, or their clients.
Liz is organizing another union, please join the new union.
DXC have said on Townhalls and department briefings that unions ARE NOT recognised by DXC.
Unite are the main union but they are about as useful as a Chocolate fire guard. They collect 15 pcm for doing sweet fa.
They have elected posts in DXC through member voting but either they've all been WFR'd or they dont give a feck, i've not heard anything for years.
Union are/have agreed /agreeing a collective bargaining pay award.
Unite are the official Unions - (IT) joined couple of years before being WFR from DXC under Mike's 1 desire to fire and gain $ millions in bonuses.
Yep Unite did absolutely F.A leading up to being WFR and being WFR.
