Your experience and education are of no value here. All you are is an employee ID# and a salary on someone's spread sheet. When mgt feels they can hire someone cheaper you get laid off. It is just about dollars.

Former interiors employee here, I’ve heard there was a decent sized layoff today, maybe the 3rd layoff for the year? Any numbers on the RIF?

Rumors are flying around that we are going to have an across-the-board 10% RIF in October. Tariffs and reduction in demand for aerospace products are driving this RIF.

They have a significant presence in the Facilities Department and House Keeping are wearing their shirts now, I know they are a commercial real estate company, just seems strange they are here unless they are preparing the property to be sold

Rockwell Collins has started layoffs today 6/12/2025 with many senior employees being laid off

few system engs (not sure how many) just got walked out today. can't even stop by to pick up jacket/umbrellas and stuff.. they will mail them home.
