I've been hearing rumours of layoffs in Canada but haven't heard anything official.
I'm 22 years in and don't want to walk away without a severance. I've been preparing for a couple years in getting Azure certifications to make myself marketable for future employment.

DXC would not even pay for let alone travel to free training from a large vendor? WFR'd in the US on Friday so they are definitely looking at who is being "productive" quote unquote. If they planned on laying off, why did they bring us back from AT&T? As a matter of fact, I was told that DXC didn't plan on any layoffs WFR's for at least a year! Wonder if that was mentioned to any other ES member who was brought back from AT&T?
1iEBrNTk - is this another of Mc Shouty's friends - what a load of ^^^^% - do your job with action, reorganize the company - get rid of dead / ineffectual management as a start and stop wasting time and our $$ talking to politicians. Give that $$ to hard working DXC employees, pay, training to get re-motivated and to deliver more effectively to the customer.
