If only the severance pay would be a little more generous... I am very worried about what will happen if I get laid off because I don't believe that the severance pay will help me enough to cover basic expenses until I manage to find a new job.

How is it possible for Optum to have such a high amount of growth but no positions for team members being laid off to move into and stay with the company?
