I anticipate the answer is yes but any intel? Usually someone knows something. Just shaking the knowledge tree.

I was laid off in November and once I signed my package the confirmation email stated 2 to 3 pay periods before I would receive my severance.
Responding to - Before I was let go my manager had my team list out our daily tasks and how long it took us to complete. So its probably coming. Good luck.
This might not mean you’ll be laid off. It could also mean you’ll be redeployed. That’s what happened to my old team. And don’t be so quick to shun a layoff. It could be better than being redeployed. At least with a layoff you’ll have a package to hold you over while you find a new job that you applied for within your job skills and that you want. And not be moved to a position that has nothing to do with your job skills. Therefore all your years of skills are no longer used or needed in this new redeployed position.
They don't need to ask the worker how hard they are working. They have the reports of scrollbars, mouse clicks and phone location hourly, weekly monthly. Along with IP and scraped data from posts on sites like this. Asking the chicken how many eggs they have laid is just an integrity test.

Based off of: @ebq+1pPcOspJ comment. That is definitely a layoff preparation to see who can be cut.
Watch the movie “Office Space” and it’ll show you the real deal on how it’s handled from a top down approach
We’ve been doing all sorts of tasks that outline how much work we are doing and the time it takes to do it. There was a deadline for 11/27. There will definitely be some layoffs. It’s unfortunate.
