Last day was 12/19. Completed the separation checklist. Almost.
Turned in concession devices, ID, etc. Except my laptop.
I submitted a request for a box, never arrived. Sent a text to my last manager, they said they would submit another request. That was 6 weeks ago. Still no box, still have this useless junk.
Is this going to affect payment of the 2025 STI?
What do I do with this thing?

OK when we solve this will someone help me return my bucket truck.
Here is some help -- same thing happened to me.
Send a email to eusprojects@one.verizon.com. That is the group handling returns. They emailed back (with an Agent's name) and she indicated they were backlogged and offered to send a label which -- I could use on my own. I waited a week or two and then emailed her back for the label. PIA.
I didn't swipe computer but had deleted everything personal. Even booting the device (off the VPN) I had all sorts of WARNING pop-ups. So ... took the laptop, hub and cables to FEDEX and sprung for the $25 bucks for them to pack in bubble wrap and send with label provided back to Vz. Ki-led me to spend the money.
Two days later -- the kit arrived. Go figure.
Wipe it and use it as a parting gift from the company that sc--wed over 13K. If they want it that bad make them work for it, you tried.
Leave it on the front porch for pickup and when it's gone, it's no longer your concern.
Is this a relevant posting here? Maybe find a reddit site?
Believe it or not, they laid off the majority of the team that handles laptop returns. There’s a huge backlog and they probably just haven’t gotten to your request yet. You’re dealing with a very long delay.
If I were you, I would just hold onto it and wait for the shipping label in box. You could also try sending an email to Eusprojects@one.verizon.com
Maybe get a life? Way past time to cling on. It's past Mardi Gras. Ask again at Easter
I wiped mine. Have it set up for clawdbot.
I think first step is to stop worrying so much about it. It's likely e-waste to them, and it probably only still exists to attempt to exert some kind of control. This isn't 1992, where it was worth a good used car then.
I don't think they have their act together enough to be tracking it so closely. I assume that you haven't signed any severance agreements yet, and this laptop could become your lawyers concern as part of any agreement.
You could pay to send it as registered mail to your manager, but I personally wouldn't care that much about it. store in bottom of your closet until they sort themselves out. this is something like your ex-girlfriends record collection she left behind.
Fu-k em', I still have my laptop from 2016.
