What does fidelity care about and not care about as far as giving back equipment? I’m hoping I can keep the monitors, docking station and webcam but obviously won’t steal them. According to the fid central site if equipment is older than they like we can keep it but it doesn’t specify. Anyone know?

I borrowed a ruler in 1989 from a guy in the office, have had it ever since and it’s mine now!
Laid off in 2024. They wanted everything back. They also want you to let your manager know once you dropped off everything.
My case was pretty messy since although I dropped off my laptop to TechWorks at EOD on my last day, my manager wasn’t told. I received a call a couple weeks after from my manager, who was very annoyed by that.
Just return everything.

Take videos of you boxing everything together, sealing the box, and mailing. Take pictures of everything item you include. They tried saying I didn’t return an item and I responded with a video of everything I boxed up, sealed, and mailed. Return every single thing.
Why risk it? Do you remember the Computer Reimbursement scandal? The company was on a witch hunt to see who abused it and had no mercy. If it was found that someone returned the computer claimed on the paperwork for some reason to get a different one, that was grounds for termination. The paperwork did not specify that you had to inform them about returns.
Don't give them a reason to cancel your severance.
You know they sell these things at Best Buy and on Amazon.
