Day 1
Let the circus begin. The Coterra name was removed already so priorities are clear
More of the Same
- More layoffs
- More AI spending
- Very high turnover
- Free cashflow problems
- AI replacing junior workers
- Reorgs everywhere
- URA / Stack ranking
- RTO/RTT/RTH
- Fake accommodations for disabled employees
- Missing senior leadership
AI will take our jobs. No one buys the AI subscription and then they will go bankrupt.
Have a good day
RCDN shutdown
Folks ; LRs coming hard by end of ,month or June , RCDN site is going to have the same faith as SJ, do you think building 5 and 6 will be saved, guess again, 6 is not coming back; war made a terrible job and they never gave maintenance to AC ; it’s all covered in mold that has been there for at least 10 years , the building is sinking and Wes’s doesn’t give a sh-t , they gonna sell it out just like sj buildings
5 will stay for a year but remain closed , they are trying to clean as much as they can just to say hey we cleaned it who wanna buy it
9 it’s on its doom too; there are cracks all over the place, Cisco already looking where to migrate the production data centers in there
On top of it layoffs coming hard , first place to cut people will be RCDN all the load to be moved out to Sherlock, bgl or Mexico , whatever is cheaper
So who got laid off this quarter?
Haven’t heard much. Anyone know what groups were targeted?
2.5 years and an NDA to come up with an Out of the Box product called "ODW!" LOLOLOL
FKNG HILARIOUS!
The 10s of millions Dell spent on this "ODW" bs and the countless layoffs they did in order to fund it and THIS is what it looks like?
My minivvan has a similar interface and that was only 120k. Except it's not leggy af or clunky and doesn't take 5000 clicks to get where I want to go!
Any layoffs coming?
Shocking but not too surprising Q1 result, keep going down hill non stop. So I guess more layoffs?
Be smart and look elsewhere before accepting a job offer from Booz Allen Hamilton
They hire people to work on a contract they won. When the contract work is completed nine out of ten times, they lay the people off. Most the contracts this company wins are short term.
You would have more job security accepting a job at Home Deport than you would ever have in accepting a job at Booz Allen.
A True Believer In Women?
Only Medtronic would do this to women right before Mother's Day.
Waiting for NAV update?
Interesting timing there….
Good luck everyone tomorrow in agile type roles. This is unfair to anyone affected.
Layoffs coming especially in tech
Heard rumours of layoffs coming especially in tech from September due to poor company performance and execs that obsess over AI especially the ones who used to be at global payment and bailed due to promotion and couldn’t handle the role. India is expanding so if you invest in invesco it’s all controlled via India now.
Do layoffs impact ppl on maternity/paternity leave?
Is this less likely? How would someone even be notified if that were the case?
Currently on leave and unsure of where things would stand.
There have been quite a few layoffs in TEBG over the past three weeks.
Marketing, quality, operations, VPs, and the contracts teams have all been affected. Positions have been consolidated, and some work has been outsourced overseas. It’s still ongoing, and word around the office is that sales could be next.
How many laid off in recent round?
Looks like they’ve done it again… kicking hard working people out :(
Voya layoffs in retirement
Multiple departments in retirement area. 100 plus most jobs are going to india to gcc.
