over 2000 jobs gone in India. Many of the teams were keeping the lights on after the wider cuts and now those teams are slashed. I know some will have malice regarding those employees, but they are humans and deserve sympathy like the 13k already gone from other areas. Lets hope nothing bad happens in the near future as recovery will be next to impossible and the market knows it.

Is that certain? At least as far as anything can be certain.
Fincantieri Marinette Marine issues 93 layoffs
In the aftermath of the cancellation of a major Navy contract, nearly 100 workers are being laid off from Fincantieri Marinette Marine.
Last week, the U.S. Navy announced it is ending the Constellation frigate program, thus canceling the remaining four ships that were supposed to be built in Marinette.

My service position was eliminated after 37 1/2 years! I was planning on retiring in a few years, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise! I landed a great job that respected my field service experience with far better pay! I wished Ricoh had laid me off years before!
The grass IS greener, if your not actively looking to leave Ricoh, you should be! I wasted way to many years in this dying industry.

U.S. lost 32000 private-sector jobs last month in surprise drop, ADP data shows
CBS News
December 3, 2025 8:04 AM PT
U.S. private-sector employers unexpectedly cut 32,000 jobs in November, as detailed in ADP data released on December 3, 2025. This surprising downturn contrasts with economists' predictions of job growth for the month. The figures are bolstering expectations that the Federal Reserve might implement an interest rate cut in the near future. Small businesses, specifically those employing fewer than 50 individuals, were disproportionately affected, accounting for 120,000 of the job losses. The professional and business services sector saw the largest decline, though leisure and hospitality experienced a gain ahead of the holiday season.
Friend laid off third time in as many years
I met him here before his 2023 layoff, and we ended up staying close even after he found a new job, only to get hit with another layoff six months later. He bounced back again and landed something new, and now he's been cut for the third time this week. He's living my greatest nightmare. How do you even deal with something like that? There's something deeply broken in the way this whole system works.

Can’t even imagine what this job will be like come next month.
So far the stress and workload has doubled as well as the quotas and that’s with our laid off coworkers still here
Somnigroup proposes to buy Leggett & Platt
"Additionally, because Leggett & Platt's business is complementary to Somnigroup's
businesses, we would expect to not only retain most of Leggett & Platt's management team and employees, whose knowledge, experience and talent would be invaluable to the
Somnigroup organization, but also provide them future career opportunities in the broader Somnigroup organization. We also expect to retain a significant presence in Carthage."
Sure.

Corporates - Account Specialists
if you’re an account specialist in corporates you might be cooked 8/10. If you haven’t received your RIF notification already well you’re either safe or they’re coming for you too. I mean they’re eliminating directors, managers, and account specialists. So it doesn’t seem like anyone is spared. It seems like a lot of these people are being let go. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter - blur

What is our Layoff Package?
LCS here. Pretty nervous about the immediate future outlook for my group. Is the layoff package generally 3 months, or more or less? And if you find a job within that timeframe do you have to pay it back? Wasn’t with XOM back during the covid layoff, so just wondering how it all went back then.

Just a thought
hink it’s time someone asks the real questions that so many of us on the Medicare/Medicaid Member Services and Provider Services side of UnitedHealth Group are afraid to say out loud.
What is actually going on?
How much longer will any of us have jobs here in the United States?
Why can’t leadership just be transparent with us about the future instead of leaving entire teams in a constant state of uncertainty?
Every day we hear rumors, see teams shrinking, and watch responsibilities shift with no clear explanation. Many of us have built years of our lives around this company, serving members and providers with everything we have. We deserve honesty. We deserve communication. We deserve clarity about what direction this organization is taking and what it means for the people who keep it running.
How many of us are even left in the U.S. doing this work?
And why is it so hard to get straightforward information?
We’re not asking for miracles—just truthful communication and respect for the workforce that shows up every day despite the stress, fear, and unanswered questions.
UnitedHealth Group, we need answers.
We deserve transparency.
And we deserve better than silence.
silent layoffs.
they are silently reducing people and giving out severance packages already. More to come. Before you ask me how I know. Go to your outlook and lookup “usrifsupport@thomsonreuters.com”. Then ask me again how I know and why I would be d-mb enough to tell you all. Not fear mongering but all I’m saying is just apply and keep your resume updated just in case because this isn’t TR specific and all organizations are downsizing due to AI.
SWA (Schwab Wealth Advisory)
Does anyone have any insight into the job satisfaction and future growth of SWA (Schwab Wealth Advisory)? There are so many job postings open around the country for advisors and managers. Is this a relatively safe division to work in at Schwab?
First in first out
Is anybody else worried that with the never-ending layoffs pretty much everywhere, even if we manage to find a job we'll be out within a few months because of the first in first out rule? I know everybody is getting rid of seasoned employees, but they have to balance it, and new employees usually pay the price.
I’m becoming a nervous wreck
I really hope we find out soon what’s going on. I can’t afford to lose my job right now. It’s just one of those tough stretches. I’m sure I’m not the only one feeling this way.
Mass layoffs followed by job openings...?
It's somewhat interesting to me that BofA would go through the entire process of hiring a bunch of tech employees, fire them all after a few months, then post the exact same job opening - complete with the exact same typos as before. The only thing that has changed is the deadline for applying. Churning and burning your way through talent is a good way to scare off legitimate prospects in the future - word gets out.
Schick’s Milford razor plant will shut down by late 2027, with nearly 300 jobs being cut.
Edgewell Personal Care told the state Department of Labor and Milford Mayor Tony Giannattasio that 293 jobs will be eliminated as part of the factory's closure, with the first round of layoffs starting in March.

We’re just circling the drain at this point
I haven’t felt like we’re building toward anything in ages. It’s all maintenance mode, at best. I’d almost welcome being put out of my misery if the job market weren’t so bleak. No real options out there, so we’re all just stuck. The worst feeling is fearing the loss of a job you don’t like at a company you can’t stand, simply because there’s nowhere else to go right now.
To relocate or not?
The job market is bad and I haven’t been able to land any offers despite some interviews. Relocation would probably save my job temporarily but it would cost my other’s job as it is not transferable. Anybody faced this situation? What did you do? Also, were you let go after relocation costing both jobs?

2025 is the best year in the next 10 years
I am lucky that I still have job in Dell. But I want to move.
I am waiting for job market to become better for a couple years.
Unfortunately, 2025 could be the best year of job market in the next 10 y.
AI is going to take all of our jobs eventually.
I am thankful that I still have a job
That’s it. Not that I get to work at an exciting company that helps develop and reward me for doing great work. It’s really to a point where I’m just thankful I haven’t been downsized.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Not much to be thankful for, but at least we still have a job, right?
How safe is it to relocate for Nike?
I was offered a promotion but I'd have to move for it. It's not a bad offer, but with all the cuts, I'm a bit hesitant to pack up and move my entire family and then potentially end up jobless. Is this something that actually happens or am I safe at least for a while if I accept?
Having Intel on your resume is still considered a bonus
Use it before you lose it.

Everything here is built around the next report instead of building something stable. People keep saying we matter, but the decisions never match the words. Offshoring set off a slow slide that everyone felt right away. The culture has not recovered since, and it shows in every corner of the place.
Thankful
Today I am thankful to work at a company that has and continues to help me provide for my family in a lucrative and very stable fashion for 25+ years.
