I heard it's starting on the 28th of April and that M4s have a list since the beginning of April.
Is it true?

@1k2 😂 looks like we are from same team. You know what I mean 😂😂
@dp No news yet.
@136 Thanks for confirming that. So, managers have been consulted in the UK and I’d assume is the same for Ireland.
@133 manager here , have a team in the UK, have been consulted
@11c But how can they do that? I mean, without consulting the managers? This is not the US, so I’d think managers would have to be consulted to pick and choose the worst performers, etc…
@n7 I heard mixed stories. It really depends it seems based on the org. A senior director said they submitted a list back in March. Then heard from another they were not even consulted, this time at least. The decisions would appear for sure from VP upwards. It's going to be a rough few weeks ahead that's for certain
@j6 who hands these lists? Management VP or SVP? or local HR
I don't know about the date, but I know the lists in EMEA were handed even before March
@c1 Stop trolling or fear mongering people. The process in Ireland does not work like that at all. A consultation process is needed, so how come you had your entire team decimated? Care to explain?
@dq Engineering
@OP any idea what parts of the business to be hit
Have we any idea what departments are being hit.
@c1 maybe not in the October - November layoff , I think this time is different …
@c1 What team did you use to work for? So sorry to hear this ;(((
Horse$hit - M4 and M5's did not get any advance notice. My team was decimated... I was told F-all
@a9 So can we expect the consultancy to start 2-3 days afterwards and the whole process to take 5-6 weeks?
@OP yes , the date is true , M4s might have the info about impact in their teams even earlier, since mid - March…
