@yg Will you fund the gift cards?
@x7 Please let me know how that evaluation goes. I’m concerned about it.
@mh goal post moving. psychological evaluation is needed, we need you as a candidate. we'll give you a blockbuster and radioshack giftcard for participating.
10 years is not a long time.
Do you find it funny that nobody in the leadership level of this company is held accountable and the only people fired are GSR level? I myself find it pathetic.
We still have a few days left in the year. Not done yet. How can a company be so notoriously bad at this. Almost like it was done intentionally, because how else could it possibly be this bad after being a known issue for so long? Really...how can you almost triple the previous record? Are we dealing with serious people at this company?
Ford will crush this record next year. No doubt about it. The longer time in service fails will drive up recalls considerably. The new launch ones less so.
@f2 As long as everyone’s okay with that…
We need more RTO. More collaboration, more spontaneous corridor conversations, and stronger corporate culture!
Does anyone think they would try and sneak one more in before the end of the year? There are still a couple days left in 2025. If they are trying to cement in the record it could be beneficial to do so.
@es Maybe we need to think outside the box, how do we fix things while keeping the company happy and at the same time making things right for the customers? The dealership experience is abysmal, I think that only adds significantly to the problem.
Ford is the King of safety recalls. No other automotive company can do this, but Ford.
Ford is Number 1 in the automotive industry.
Lots of recalls with no fix available. If no fix, there is no repair and no expense. It is just an IOU.
@cw correlation or causation, can you explain?
Some Interesting facts to watch for automotive timing 2026-2027. This is not a coincidence:
A) Silver’s 2008 Peak → Chrysler Bankruptcy
Silver peaked (nominal): March 2008
Chrysler bankruptcy: April 30, 2009
➡ Approximate gap: ~13 months (1 year + ~1.5 months)
B) Silver’s 2008 Peak → GM Bankruptcy
Silver peaked: March 2008
GM bankruptcy: June 1, 2009
➡ Approximate gap: ~14–15 months
@cd I'm sorry you feel that way, I don't find these types of things funny in the least, and I do not fully understand what's going on here. One cannot be happy with the way things have been handled, I'm think people recognize that.
@b5 Why do people always thing their trying manipulate the system or pull the wool over peoples eyes?
@OP "Have I been sleeping less? Have I been Tyler Durden more? Have I been changing the recall justification formulas in Excel to bring down a giant consumer brand?"
in the old days they would just pretend the problems did not exist and "not recall." see the book Savage Factory about ford transmissions in the bad old days. just make it past the 12 month warranty...
100% on Farley’s watch, with 0% accountability.

This is what this type of wonderful leadership brings with it. Well done Bill and Jim! You are an inspiration!
Dave Calhoun, has entered the chat. Dave, former Boeing train wreck CEO wanting to be JF replacement, says Hold My Cappuccino!
Any press is good press.
It takes collaboration to break records like that! Nice Job Team!
All lights green! Full steam ahead!
