More layoffs today
Does anyone know the numbers? When will the useless VPs be let go? Totally directionless with no vision.
Buzz saw moving through mortgage today and tomorrow
Good luck everybody. I was thinking would hit if at all next month, but it’s here.
November layoffs are a fact.
I hate that Halliburton is such a layoff happy company. Many of us were laid off recently and told that we could be subject to call back. Not so fast. I talked to my friend who still works at JRC, and he told me that the PGL's and the leadership have been having meetings since Monday about another layoff list. He said that November layoffs are a fact and that an additional 30% will be let go. Some areas will close and others will merge together. He said the order books are being manipulated to make the employees think that everything is ok. in his area, no new work is being released. He told me that some operations are currently being moved to Oklahoma and some sent overseas.
Please spread the word and prepare others for November.
When is next layoff
Been waiting for this for months now
DUH!
Phillips mastered the “Art Of The Layoff” in 1999 and has continued to refine it over the decades. Take a look at their service stations and compare them to QT or OnCue. Pretty easy to spot the winners AND THE LOSER! 😉
Not sure about pipline and plastic…
What in the F*icky is going on with Layoffs at UNUM

Has anyone ever been rehired by IBM after being RAed?
And if you went back, did you think that maybe you'd lost your f---ing mind?
WFR and Cobra plans
Hello - can anyone help to dispel the CORBRA for WFR. Do we get CORBRA sponsor from Juniper/HPE for 4 months, or do we have to pay the full amount from our pocket? I don't see clear information regarding COBRA. Thanks
Any word on Layoffs?
Any word on any further layoffs this year?
Lloydminster The Oil Patch
Happening now - firings and layoffs in Lloydminster area, more coming in the near future. Meanwhile the unqualified 3rd floor people at CPL keep their jobs.
IF YOU GOT LAID OFF PLEASE REPLY
Soooo there has obviously been a huge amount of layoffs happening.
Please— if you have gotten laid off today or if anyone knows of anyone that got laid off can you reply the department name?
Also— does anyone know of how many people they are laying off and/or if they are going to be doing this the next couple of days?
Praying we are all safe.
A FIS Haiku
Shrink, shrink goes the workforce.
The price of stock follows.
Down, down goes NPS.
Investor, customer and employee trust all lost
Ring ring goes the mckinsey cash register. The only thing that goes up
3 years. We’ve seen enough.
Time for the board to make a change
Rumored 30% workforce lay offs for IT
India IT manufacturing team has been here on North Campus for the past month. Last year they got rid of the Philippines IT team and moved all their applications to India. confident the same thing is happening again for US owned apps. Also, seems they are targeting tenured but not confirmed.
Layoffs Continue
~350 total between F1 and F8 (2.7% of total headcount) will likely go by end of year.
Get your backup plans in order, it’s just business.
Manchester closing
Looking like the Manchester, NH site is toast. F in the chat for all the test engineering teams.
This individual is no longer
Was supposed to be in a meeting and the person had an OOO stating they were no longer with the company....are we letting go of people. I looked up another person and same message.
The OpenText Storyteller Quest by Sandy
Is this even legal? It’s a mandatory “training” where all marketing personnel are required to video record themselves and narrate a story based on a script. In my opinion, this is a North Korean-style approach to engaging employees and creating a false perception of the company’s success, all while everyone is overworked, poorly managed, and laid off every six months!
Parkdale Mills to lay off 68 in Hillsville
The job cuts at the yarn maker’s Hillsville plant in Carroll County come just two years after hundreds of layoffs there.

Sales will probably end up gutted
I’m furiously looking for another job. I don’t think many of us will survive here over the next couple of months.
Have layoffs started?
Nothing’s happened yet where I am, but that means little in the grand scheme of things. The rumor mill is nonstop. Some say cuts will begin tomorrow and wrap up by Friday, though who knows if that’s true. It would be great to get a real heads-up, but no such luck, I guess. If you have any updates, please share.
Capital One plans hundreds more layoffs tied to Discover acquisition
The layoffs will take place in phases over the next eight months, though most of the positions will be eliminated by mid-November.

Restructuring definition
This story is not related to ACN, but it will be similar for all of us sooooooooooon

PBM Lost Amazon Contract
All the other services have been on a downtrend, now it looks like the PBM side is being impacted. Doesn't seem like Evernorth is trying very hard to maintain its growth. With them already announcing that they're building "offshore campuses" a few months back seems like they'll be cutting a lot of people soon.
Congratulations, you’re being transformed.
Great news folks, we are getting transformed!!
Some rumors I’ve been hearing is that the transformation team has been meeting since Q2 to restructure everything; meaning that they are going to announce layoffs in Q4. When? Have not heard.
It is going to be across all BUs and Roles regardless of direct or indirect billing.
So get your resumes ready. Reason being is that they are expecting to have a terrible next year.
CarelonRx
Does anyone here know if associates with CarelonRx were also let go last week? Looks like MegS team affected.
International offices
Wondering if anyone has any insight into the process of international layoffs? Would each HR dept be given a budget/number of people to let go? Or would decisions already be made from up top in the US on departments to lay off etc?
Manager making treats to work harder!!
It's total nonsense. My manager reviewed my workload yesterday, and I've received 40 percent more work since we lost five members of our team. But he indicated I need to close my SR faster since we are under more secruinite and my metric doesn't match his standard. Wtf
I don’t see the point in working harder to improve our team metrics just so my manager can look better to his director.
I’m not putting in extra effort; where’s my pay raise? What’s the point when this company is laying off people? I’m just here to collect a paycheck until I find a new job.
My friends were let go despite being high performers, and I have no desire to go above and beyond for this organization. It really feels like a terrible company. Is the moral low in other team?
I told my manager I can only do what I can and there is nothing else for me to improve. He was not happy but who caresssss…
What the feck is going on with data science?
I’m seeing many resignations on LinkedIn following the selections.
I’m seeing teams recruiting externally for data scientists after layoffs.
I’m hearing of unqualified people, with no background in data science, being given positions, whilst others are let go.
I’m hearing that AI has been moved under CNE?!
WTAF?
Are we satisfied with wave 2 outcomes, or have we been beaten into submission?
Our ranting and ravings, mine included, have subsided. Are we tired, ambivalent, still working through the results? I myself am not looking forward to dealing with the mess we will be left with.
Lay Off Dec

Anyone else looking for a new job?
In preparation for layoffs is anyone searching elsewhere? How are you finding it? If not, why aren't you looking?
Upcoming layoffs
As we all know, Thomson Reuters does massive layoffs every year in November. If you got a really good review on your midyear review, can you assume that you’re safe this year? Has anyone ever heard of someone getting a great review during their mid year review but still finding themselves in the lay off list that year?
More layoffs next Month +
Layoffs already took place on 9/18, with more planned in 4–6 weeks and again in January—confirmed by someone in HR. The company is steadily offshoring more and more jobs from the US to India, unless a contractual agreement requires the role to remain in the US. For those not billing their time to projects, it’s only a matter of time. This organization is going downhill fast, and it’s disheartening. I honestly wish the government would step in—this is a US healthcare company, yet they’re outsourcing our jobs offshore to people who have no real investment here.
US Employees - Brace for next week!
U.S. employees should brace for next week’s layoffs. I advise you to get any files you want to keep off of your computer by printing or emailing. Watch for discrimination among the jobs being eliminated by October 1st. Do not sign any documents at the time of layoff until you see an attorney/labor lawyer. I know many of you that will be laid off likely have grounds for a lawsuit based on ageism, gender (females young and old) retaliation, etc. Hold Cenovus accountable for their massive double standards for male vs female employee, and treatment of such during a company downsizing.
Reporter seeking comment on carmen layoffs in Green River, Wyoming, or Roper Utah
I am a reporter in Wyoming working on a story about the recent carmen layoffs in Green River Wyoming.
If that is you, I would love to hear your behind the scenes take, at Renee@CowboyStateDaily.com.
How are layoffs being decided
Is it just UHG picking org charts, or is it the VP's Directors, offering up people on bigger teams as tribunes?
