Hat3 towards Indians, Protect yourself IAAC guidelines - Controversial post but help ppl who are in needs

Your constitutional rights — they apply to you regardless of immigration status. Period.

What to do if ICE knocks on your door. What warrant to look for. What NOT to sign. Word for word, what to say.

Your workplace rights — your employer cannot bench you, cannot threaten you with deportation, cannot charge you the H-1B filing fee. If they do, we tell you exactly who to call.

How to document hate. How to report it. How to archive online harassment before it disappears.

The numbers that prove this guide is overdue:
— 300 million+ views on anti-Indian hate posts on X in 2025
— 1 in 4 Indian Americans called a slur since 2025
— 48% encounter racist content regularly online
— 31% now avoid speaking up out of fear

We built this guide so you don’t have to be afraid. You have rights. Learn them. Use them.

Save it. Screenshot it.

T-Mobile US Cuts Staff in IT Optimization

T-Mobile US recently laid off an undetermined number of employees. This move is part of an effort to optimize its IT organization. GeekWire reported the total job cuts were in the hundreds. T-Mobile stated it is aligning its IT for future growth and innovation. Anonymous posts indicated cuts across RF field techs, investor relations, and executive staff.

Lack of info

There is nothing that can be done now. The one thing that bothers me to no end at all these extensions recently. We, as the people who will be represented by the contract, never see what the union(s) even asked for to start negotiations. Was there any give and take? Or, did they just be-doverand take what the company gave? This should be information supplied to all members, all locals.

Monday & Tuesday - for Canada and the US

  • Meeting invites are going out Monday (Canada) and Tuesday (U.S.).
  • Not sure if this is limited to my GBU or affects everyone at Oracle.
  • VPs would have known on Friday...assuming managers get told Monday am or VPs do the work, and then everything is executed

I’d like to keep anonymous, so I’m not going to mention my GBU.

Ask me anything session

Nothing says “ask me anything” like the “organizer has disabled new discussions, and responses” and chat has been turned off by the “organizer for everyone”

Sounds like the long-term plan is to completely get rid of professional services

All hands call

Looks like another 90 minutes of time waste is upon us... Here is what is going to be said:

1) We are awesome (according to our own selves of course).
2) We are winning against Microsoft and Citrix (again according to our selves).
3) Our customers love us (that's why they are leaving us, you see...).
4) Our technology is so futuristic (hence why we brought the 70s back in our SKO).

BTW %73.67 of you clicked on the phishing email that was sent the other day so you now have to take the wrath of big man DD and explain to him why you did not fight harder against the temptation to click on the URL.

Recommendations of any kind

Is it true that the bank won't allow for a manager to write a recommendation for a former employee?
In my particular situation, I used the LinkedIn recommendation tool and requested one and that was the response I received.

I tried this because a former coworker of mine mentioned they asked for one and they had no problem in getting one. So I thought, well why not? Even my manager said to me when we said goodbye, that if I needed anything at all please reach out.
What else could they do to help besides give a recommendation etc.?

I almost feel they could if they wanted too they would, but for some reason, albeit a personal reason (though they would never admit) is causing them not too.

It hurts so bad to be told and thrown out of a job from someone you really went out of your way to assist on many occasions and gave praise and encouragement and built a meaningful relationship with business wise.

The fact because you're not able to travel the 3 days a week because you can't afford to get there was the only reason you didn't stay.

Its alarming when they stop speaking to you and delete you off all social media for no reason. Wont respond to you no matter what when attempting contact to see how they are doing.
You feel it's because of that (leaving on good terms, told to stay in contact, so what else could it be)?

I can speak for many I believe that a fully remote no questions asked option when we all came back from covid should have been a reality. This whole location strategy and layoff fiasco could all have been avoided had this happened:

For example **

option A: Full-time remote. There will always be enough people to fill the offices so I don't know why there is/was such heavy handed approach towards that.

Or option B Full office: Everything as usual for whoever wanted to go in.

Those are the only options that should have been presented after coming back. The choice should have been simple and permanent, everyone would have been happy and life could have continued on as intended. I'd still be working there, if they weren't so strict on wfh.

Tell Dell - No, it is NOT anonymous

  1. Do you agree that the information contained in the database associates your name with your survey responses? If so, then by definition it is NOT anonymous.

  2. Do you agree that the unique link helps ensure that people don't take the survey twice? But in so doing, do you also agree that the unique link is also stored in the database, which associates your name with your survey responses? If so, then by definition it is NOT anonymous.

  3. Do you agree that Dell could retrieve your information if they ever needed to for things like legal discovery, etc? For example, if someone said something really stupid like made a threat or something, which has happened before. If so, then by definition it is NOT anonymous.

  4. Do you trust Dell HR and/or Dell leadership?

True anonymity severs any PII between the user, user ID, employee number, etc., from existence. It never creates it in the first place - i.e., no logs, no db entry, no links, no memory, nada. That's not the case here by virtue of the way it is created, distributed, and stored.

As to whether the 3rd party who manages the survey would give up that information, that's an entirely different discussion altogether.

But it is NOT anonymous by definition, End of Story.

This site use to be pretty useful…..

But am blown away at the number of id--ts, racists and trolls that are posting and commenting.

It use to be 80% informative and 20% id--ts, racists and trolls. Those numbers have flipped since lads summer.

Maybe it’s just the TMO page? Maybe people not even associated with TMO are posting/ commenting ?
