Someone wrote here that they were offered two weeks of severance pay after over 15 years of service. Really? Can the severance be any lower? Only if it didn't exist at all. I’m disgusted to say the least because I thought it was bigger. Or maybe... — read more
Who thinks some stores will close soon?
Does anybody think there will be store closings soon? It seems like there is light at the end of the tunnel in terms of the pandemic. Perhaps Follett can weather this storm but I wonder what are the ramifications of this horrible fiscal year?
Lost Relevancy
EM is steadily becoming irrelevant. Feb 2020 Darren Woods went on CNBC and called clean energy / green investments by other majors like Shell and BP a “beauty competition”. He’s projecting hard. DW/EM have an incredibly cynical strategy of basically... — read more
How does a store close go down?
Like many of you I’m worried my store may close. What does this look like? Are there signs? Does the RM come in one day and escort you out (especially for small stores)? Do they give you notice?
BF and TL are buying what AK is selling, their greed and foolishness is going to sink us

Loss of Contract
Is anyone familiar with how Follett handles store managers when a contract is lost? Do they help them find a new position within the company, or are they simply let go? I’m thinking I may be facing this in the next few months.
