I know one of the RMs that recently left and never thought he would. It was very telling when I heard he went somewhere else to work and who he went to work for. He was and is a good guy. Wish him the best!
Maybe he was just unhappy but I always saw him as being very informed on the going’s on in the company and industry at large. If he is leaving then I don’t think that bodes well for Follett.

Values are a way of avoiding actual incentives by saying how much they 'love' you. The old adage to this still applies; 'Don't tell me you love me. Pay me." Follett can't even pay their vendors, they can't even afford card stock. They can, however, provide form emails to send along by Associate ID
I personally know a long 20+ year employee who could paper their office wall with all the values cards. A good number of them were awarded by the sociopath SM who executed an abuse campaign the ended this person's career at FHEG.
If you need to start a fire, value's cards make for poor kindling. With enough patience, they will burn. Otherwise they're useless and meaningless.
A "Values Card" means f*** all.
To the poster that responded to the Loyola situation in 2018. Thank you. That store made over 2 million thanks to the regional that was there at the time. 20 year employee who got scapegoated by SZ. Took 2 1/2 years to get back on our feet. Had to relocate to another state. Working for a huge state run institution and couldn't be happier. It's a good thing Loyola lost, because he wasn't there to make over 2 million in sales. And yes, the GVP at the time should have been fired for letting him go. Good luck to all and get out while you can.
So confused! I know the manager at Loyola WaterTower left, but not the Lakeshore manager too? He just started in July, and he just got a Values Card for his loyalty. He is still listed as the manager.
There's nothing to suggest the SM leaving is anything untoward...just moving on.
Although, when the new person comes in that will be 3 SMs there in less than 12 months!
The Loyola SM is gone?
In reply to @4uyo+1a2ny71f.
It will be interesting to see if Follett goes with an internal or external hire for the vacant Loyola post.
As since the RM you refer to got screwed over Loyola can't seem to hold on to SMs either.
Maybe Loyola losing is karma for the way they handled the RM after Loyola lost in 2018. He was a good guy and knew the company/industry as well. I feel bad for the staff at Loyola, but the current RM is is not nice if you're not one of her favorites and the GVP is awful and should've been fired years ago for her awful decision-making.
Loyola is out. There goes the hope for all that $$$. Maybe we can quit glorifying that bookstore for a little bit
Replying to @2yiq+1a2ny71f
For Loyola.
The rest of us, not so.
Make Follett family stock worth more!
WIN!
A Loyola win will help, merchandise out the window!
Follett is stopping projects and other work because it is running out of money. Vendors are screaming for past due invoices. Follett will never recover.
