My manager tries to make me feel that I’m to blame for everything that happens in the company. This has been going on for more than two months, there is this animosity all of a sudden. Maybe it’s the transmission of anger from his superior, who knows.
At first I thought it was a sign that they would soon inform me that I am no longer needed. But no, still nothing. I am becoming more and more frustrated and I would rather ask him openly what is the reason for such a sudden and unbearable micromanagement.

Suddenly Stupid is a tactic wielded by follett 8 years ago when they purged talented people who had a lot of experience. If your manager is assigning you new tasks without any guidance of what they are looking for as an end result and then is hypercritical towards how to accomplished the task, that's suddenly stupid. I saw very good people assigned departments they'd never before worked. They were given no guidance, no priorities. Everything they touched was criticized.
If this doesn't fit, perhaps you SM is being suddenly stupided. Are they catching flack for things they don't control? How long have this manager been at your store? Are they willing to relocate (no, is the wrong answer btw).
If it's the 2nd example, maybe they could use a friend who is good at listening. Because if it's the 2nd example, they're on their way out.
This also happened to me about a month before I was let go. They are laying the groundwork for your exit- be prepared.
While it could be a case of 'suddenly stupid syndrome' (which is what you were initially worried about) transference is a big thing every store op I've been at. Google the term 'seagull manager' as that is normally what happens from higher ups, especially at the turn of a new fiscal year. Then without a healthy coping mechanism it becomes displaced onto the staff. It's like the classic difficult customer situation; not 4D chess, but someone who has a multitude of fears driving them so they lash out at retail workers. Granted, many are just jerks, but it s—s, and I am sorry.
