I just heard of 4 RM'S that are on their way out, found new jobs and gave notice. Could be more, but I was told of 4.
Do they know something we don't know? Honestly, not sure why we even have Regional, on the rare chance mine comes to my store they are just on the phone or laptop the entire time, makes an effort to see the business contact, and places out after their long hard day in my store after 4 hours.

My ASM tested positive so, of course, that meant I had to quarantine. The RM sent someone from another store & when that wasn't possible the store was closed.
Curious how many Store Managers have tested positive for covid and how long were they out? What did your store do without the manager there for an extended time? Did your rm cover? Or did they send support from another store?
Is JP around?
No, they EXPECT us to risk ours
But they're willing to risk ours!
To the last poster: are you for real? They have no problem expecting us to be in the stores, with the public, every day, while they sit at home reading the latest dreadful sales numbers and sipping their coffees.
You expect a RM to risk his/her health? Are you nuts?
I haven't seen my rm once in the past year. Covid, covid, covid. Well, we have been here all along working so why did they get a pass?
Could have used the help since staff was cut.
You do have to ask why they’re “needed” when it’s rush, you’re down to yourself or one helper in the store, and all they’re doing is firing off emails and sitting on their f—ing duffs at home.
Mine is going, by choice, happy to my rm go. Biggest micro manager and a– kisser ever to exist. Hasnt been in a store for a year, other than an occasional inventory, but when __ would visit on a rare occasion it isn't like __ would help you with anything in your store. My rm likes me, thankfully, because if __doesn't __ treats you like c-ap, plays favoritism, and expects way more than reasonable. So I have always just played nice, to keep the peace, I dont think there is any consideration how much more the stores have had to take on but with zero compensation but __ expected you to do it, even if it means 12 hr days.
All the old RMs that we’re clearing a pretty penny have been dealt with. The young ones who don’t know any better stuck around. Curious as to what’s happening now.
Oh but they do so much, like regurgitate the weekly huddle. Pretty sure we could just read that on our own.
And they also spend loads of time and phone calls with the "chosen few" behind kissers. The ones who never shut up on conference calls.Of course don't forget the weekly reminders to engage with your campus on reduced payroll hours. So just lock up the store and wander around campus to see which professors just happen to be on site. Sorry just feeling a little salty lately
You're sure they quit on their own and aren't being pushed out, like what happened with some RMs over the summer?
Either way, good riddance. RMs really don't do much of anything.
