Why does Dell need three Presidents of Sales.. Scannell, Byrne and Adrian McDonald at a time whey the claim to be streamlining the sales organization.

They're not. They will not be done for a while. Dell is plagued with bad leadership. As long as they're in charge, they'll keep cutting costs (or people, to be more precise) - it's time to accept that.

The new modifiers are .5 to every dollar in sales of selling at floor. Now who’s ready to try and beat an elephant to death with some tinfoil?

What's going to happen to them? Are they going to be expected to continue with work as if nothing has happened? I wouldn't want to be in their shoes, that's for sure.

Is Dell leaning the business to be acquired? He will get yet another 50 billion from the sale and then he can sail off into the sunset.

Had layoffs in Canada, looks like no one’s safe, engineering got hit hard. Not sure who’s safe anymore.

Will this affect Dell’s ability to land future US Federal contracts? It appears Dell is spending about the same amount lobbying the US government this year as they did last year so maybe this gets less attention.

It seems this man’s policies have single-handedly driven the share points down over 50 points in the past 3 months. What exactly is this guy bringing to the company. When is enough failed policies enough?

Over the weekend my office floor (France) changed into a Zombie garden. What a reorg can do to people, its beats out motivation, and all energie left the building. Moral is gone. Shame we can't turn back the time.
