Oracle openings

Got this from a recruiter this week.

I’m working on a major project with my client Oracle who is looking to build out a new team working with their Oracle Health Applications group. They are currently beginning the process to bring on 50-100 Software Developers of all levels to their team.

These roles will require some hybrid on-site work at one of their many nationwide locations (1-2 days per week).

Roles: Software Engineers (100+ openings – all levels)
Location: Hybrid
Duration: 1-2 year Contracts

Timeline:

· Interviews to be scheduled around end of November / early December

· Start dates targeted by end of December

Skills Focus:

· Strong Java development background

· Ideally some experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular/Vue) PREFERRED.

· Any experience with Cloud technologies

yep, got an offer and will be working on much better projects there then I am here.

they're contract roles, not fulltime.

Oracle is one of the worst employers in the US. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

The oracle spots su-k. Theyre mostly working on the cloud infra.

salary is 2 ranks lower. Industry is going back to 2006 range

I heard Larry Ellison is interested in buying part of the Dell if it gets broken up and sold. He owns four mansions along the Newport Cliff Walk so he already has some presence in New England.

did the recruiter say what the range is?
