Is the big one coming?
I hear rumors of a massive hit coming. Any truth to this?
Looking elsewhere
Im early in career and never been a part of a company’s downfall. I’m looking for other jobs but need advice: what do you recommend to say of why you’re looking for a new job? Other than Citrix is done for
Think before you leap
I advise people to also take time to review the company's statement of financial position and the income statement. Citrix is a profitable company but not a stock market darling. It's products are going to be in use for a long time and you have an... — read more

How can TH be a independent Citrix board member and also employed as a managing director for Vista ?
Successful Innovation is a hard task master
Innovating and being successful at it is hard work. In Citrix there was plenty of innovation with the ICA protocol, XenApp, XD, Netscalar etc which gave it a clear and distinct advantage. I had an opportunity to contribute to many of these products... — read more
Citrix doesn't have to pay you severance
If you're considering whether to leave now or wait for the possibly reduced severance, you're not considering all options. Citrix is not obligated by law to provide severance. Every single one of us can be laid off (not fired, laid off) and not be... — read more
Amazon recently more than doubled base comp limits

It seems quite certain that there will be significant cuts. The only question now is whether to start actively looking for other opportunities or take a little risk and wait for the package? I think that the package won't be so generous that it would... — read more

What about accrued PTO
Asking TIBCO people what happened to any accrued PTO you had at acquisition? Did it get paid to you? Did you lose it as I hear TIBCO has "unlimited" PTO at manager discretion, I assume meaning no accrued PTO.
Ex- TIBCO - How is happened
Just after the acquisition by Vista, 11% was laid-off. The initial target was 20%. but they did 11% so that the rest would leave on their own. After that, layoffs happened every quarter. Now, they sold TIBCO's HQ and almost 30% of the US workforce... — read more
