For PE will need to pay interest on $14B + extract money for themselves. The current profit of $307M is not enough.
They'll need to increase the profit margins to 25%-30%. 15% more profits is $480M. How are they going to save so much money? By layoff people.
Merging with TIBCO is to cut people in HR, Finance and Admin. Some departments like investor relationships will be removed completely, because they are not needed.
If the average cost per employee is $200k in the US, they need to cut more than 2000 people. It is not going to happen in one day, but we should expect it.
dignity does not worth much. ensure your boss dont use these fake dignity on you, hit them where it hurts, $$$$, let them pay you.. one thing they call is professionalism, after I see Citrix fiasco, there is no such thing in citrix. everyone is for themselves at managers and directors level, forget dignity, suck the $ out of citrix .. just like them.
hmm: ensure you get the package and roll around until that day, delay doing anything, pretend to flip fingers, look around, if boss mean to you, my suggestion is fire a HR case and let HR help you deal with your boss, use anything: skin color, religion, age, find anything.. by the HR rule, that will take at least 2 weeks and you can continue file HR suit, your boss can not touch you during the time, most of managers stay away, and usually end up with no result.. hence they will ensure get rid of you, you will get standard package and then move on.. dont just leave without it, I have seen these people drag these on for 2 years or more..
I remember during the last layoff people were on here crying that you shouldn’t spread rumors than bo-m layoffs. On this website they said it would happen on a Wednesday but it got pulled up 2 days… Just saying a lot of information on this website happens!
