It's not the lies that bother me.
It's the insult to my intelligence that I find offensive.

Cutting 20% VCIP payout save them about 10 - 15 million only …..
Let's get this straight - ELT is who set unrealistic 2021 goals and they openly admitted it. Then they "graciously" granted ~10% extra for a maximum total of less than 80% for the employees bonus while not saying a word about VP and above bonuses. They could've said "my bad, let me give you all some PRSUs to bump up to 100%" Instead employees got shafted yet again. This is really starting to look like a clinical case of "let me hit you where it hurts and then hit some more" while making sad, sympathetic faces
Is anyone listening? C’mon people — IT IS NOT 80%. It’s “close to 80%.” Line she doesn’t know the exact number? Or is it because the actual number is something like 77% — the difference costing a lot of people thousands of dollars… ? I don’t know why this board continues to parrot Dimmel’s garbage, but I’m here to tell you that the final number is in the seventy percentile. I can’t wait to collect what little I have to scrape up and gtfo of here.
If I resign now and be around till 1st March will I be eligible for the VCIP?
I would have considered staying if they actually vested all the RSUs and then provided future retention cash bonus going forward. The fact they didn't is just highlighting what is to come. Complete control for Vista/Elliot to cut before paying out those liabilities. It's over.
Im still in shock at how "Performance" RSUs will be paid at 200% and while the "Performance" component of VCIP will be paid at 80% in best case scenario. Agree completely that announcing this during the GEM as a positive thing for employees was an insult at best.
To think that out of the 16 billion deal, they could not take $8-10 million to properly compensate the staff is such a huge strategic mistake… or perhaps is all part of the plan to make people leave.
This leadership is either too stupid to understand the consequences to their decisions OR they are actually doing all of this with the goal to make 10-20% of the workforce to leave. This will save them a ton on money for layoffs.
I personally know of 12 people that have put their notice in the last 2 weeks, in area of the business where you usually lose 1-2 people a year.
I already put my notice… and every single GEM and team meeting just reinforces my decision and makes me want to just leave now.
The snowball of resignations is just getting started. April/May will be a disaster.
Tibco is going to be very pleased with the skeleton crew that Citrix will have by time of acquisition.
It is just incredible that they give themselves 200% and wouldn’t even do 100% in the VCIP for the people who actually do the work. It is offensive and repulsive.
The Pareto principle states that for many outcomes, roughly 80% of consequences come from 20% of causes (the "vital few").
