Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

GEM was as expected

Lower bonuses, no clarity on this year salary increase and RSUs and "you are likely to have your job tomorrow". No retention plan beyond cross your fingers and hope for the best

But at least some ELT self-awareness that they could've done a better job with Joe throwing shade at Tim that marketing messages do not reach many CIOs

All Citrix middle managers are on the chopping block.....no one from Country Manager up will keep their jobs, all culled. There will be no management from Citrix left it will be Vista taking over .... current management are posturing and power base building for no real good reason!!!! .... Vista are pi----g themselves laughing that the Citrix debacle that is the usual unfolding of such acquisitions.

Joe will not be CEO. He will likely keep his job though since they gave him 2 million extra in stock on the day of the layoffs. No other exec received that https://otp.tools.investis.com/clients/us/citrix/SEC/sec-show.aspx?FilingId=15362340&Cik=0000877890&Type=PDF&hasPdf=1

Joe said he would resign if they had any layoffs in 2022.

Is Joe asserting himself for CEO post-acquisition?

Yep, stick around and help ELT to lock in their PRSUs and bonuses because they worked so hard on this great deal

Funny how they didn't provide specific details on the deal conditions. I'm quite sure one of them is the retention of the current staff pre-acquisition to ensure business continuity. No doubt Vista is going to have a layoff spree post-acq, but they want to do it on their terms, not purchase an empty shell with no support staff.

If you are trusting ELT and buying what they are selling then stick around, otherwise plan your exit
