Dear Sarah You stated something along the lines of "those that lose their jobs can find new ones but they may not be as fun or as meaningful" Ma am, I can assure you that as a medical professional, working for Centene is not the most meaningful thing... — read more

COBRA Mail
For those who got the COBRA letter in the mail, can you tell us what it contained? Position?
Do the people who are getting laid off know yet
Have there management already told them? So stressful not knowing
Just a reminder, you're all dispensable.
The wealthy and powerful will never regard you as anything other than a mechanism to make them money and enforce their will on the earth. You will be used and then thrown away. An appalling amount of people seem to have some sort of Stockholm... — read more
Glassdoor
Why Sarah has 85% approval rating in Glassdoor?
Confirmed this is wave 2, more to come.
I know for a fact, this is the second round, first was August. Those departments spared this round will be part of the upcoming subsequent rounds. Follow the money and payor sources to know who got hit first and why. 100%, more rounds in next... — read more

November and December Layoffs
As Drew mentioned yesterday there are going to be more layoffs in 2024. How much do you want to bet leadership hasn’t learned their lesson of communicating when layoffs occur and will revert back to how they were during the August layoffs. If that... — read more

I hope everybody is quiet quitting
Let's give Centene exactly what it deserves.
ways you could have avoided layoffs
Suggest that the company look at other ways to avoid layoffs, such as NO more private jet's to go to meetings that could be done by office on zoom. Supervisors and above do not need resort type meetings that can be done by zoom or in the small... — read more

Next week can't come soon enough
I just want to be done with the whole thing. I know I won't get much sleep this weekend, and I'm sure many of you won't either.
Always posting project management positions
I don’t work for Centene. I have a friend that does but she has recently been laid off but is interviewing for a position in the company. When I got laid off at Wells Fargo back in March, she suggested I apply at Centene. Since then I see several... — read more
VP, Cultural Transformation
What is her role exactly? The example about Boston suburbs and how she can apply same at Centene frankly made no sense. What did I miss?
Can you think of a company with more clueless leadership than Centene?
Because I certainly can't.
The Missed Comment by Drew
As Drew was flying through his remarks it seems that he accidentally said too much. It does appear that many missed it though. He stated over 3% were to be laid off in 2024 and quickly ran to side track with comments about hires for 2025. Hold... — read more

Townhall should have been after layoff
Poor judgement to hold this townhall this week. Should have the townhall a week or so after the layoff. Because l keep thinking what do l care about all of this bs, l do not know if l am going to be a part of this organization as of next week.
The crowd...
The "crowd" is much smaller than normal. A waste to have it at that venue. Could have met in a lunch room at any office. Obviously hand picked audience.
