Funny but Not Funny

Reading through the thread here has been very helpful. Checked the information in the post "How low do you think CDW stock can drop" and found it true. So true that the... — read more

SMB - Disaster

What is going on in the SMB segment at CDW? I cannot believe how disconnected leadership and sales managers across the entire segment are. The “better together” day at the new McLean office was the cherry on top. Aletha No---n and other big sales... — read more

Check in on your laid off friends.

I called a person who was RIFed today and he was really down and scared. He was one of our highest performers and received the financial benefits of his sales success. Maybe to much so and he became a target to save money. I agree with everything... — read more

The worst work environment

The work environment is worse here than any other job I've ever had, and I've worked for some cr-ppy companies. I'm not sure if it's just my group or the entire CDW, but the sheer toxicity is unbelievable. It's like you took every bad work stereotype... — read more

UNIONIZE

It is time. A coworker told me that he has called the Teamsters because they are bada-- unions who will help us and our families. We tired of this happening and then waiting for it to happen again and again. VH and LV rise! Theyl'l send out our VP to... — read more

Leadership & Morale in small business

There is zero morale or hope in Small business across the board... how are some of the VPs and top managers (looking at East specifically) still at CDW? Account managers are making barely any money in small business. Top accounts are hoarded by... — read more

Moved On and I’m So Much Happier!

I left CDW right before the last round of layoffs. Had I known they were coming, I’d have volunteered to be first in line as I saw the ship sinking and was ready to get in a lifeboat. My new job is amazing! Not only do I get paid more, I also don’t... — read more

Insight Dropped further than CDW

It’s really these old VARS. Recall NSIT bought SADA, a premium GCP provider. That deal is putting the hurting on their numbers and is hugely distracting. They can barely function at SADA it’s so bad. NSIT wrecked SADA faster even than CDW wrecked its... — read more

Another Quarter of Revenue and Profit Decline

I encourage everyone to listen to today's earning's call. For two year's, CDW has seen quarterly declines in revenue and profit, despite all of the acquisitions to drive revenue growth and layoffs to increase profits. Every earnings call is replete... — read more

They’re not paying

Our team had a record high quarter bonus. The quarter ended September 30. We were let go the next day. My director and the coworker services person assured me that I would receive my bonus. I just got my last check…and big surprise…my bonus was... — read more

Advice to CDW Leadership Monitoring Comments

It's a sad commentary when someone from CDW sits around reading all the comments about the latest layoff and down votes posts that tell the truth about the internal mess or bad management choices. Who gets to sit an be paid to watch this board and... — read more

Thoughts on the recent RIF

Instead of laying off the people who do the work, the executive team needs to look at themselves. If you have that many quarters when numbers are being missed, leadership should be losing their jobs. Instead of spending money on off-sites... — read more

Nothing can be done in my crippled team

We lost so many people, and we were barely making it before layoffs. We all are expected to take on the workload after those who left. Why would anyone put any extra effort after just witnessing who and how was affected by layoffs? We lost a couple... — read more

CDW Leadership true colors revealed…

Just had a chat with a teammate who got let go (~10yr vet). He said our sales director was apparently cold and robotic in exit meeting. Could literally care less and just wanted to read his script and move on. No “thank you for all you’ve done for... — read more

More Info from the Inside of CDW Layoffs

For those who have been laid-off, network hard and look at least twice a day on all job boards. The US Department of Labor is reporting low unemployment rates, not really. The rate is calculated based on who is filing not who still needs a job but... — read more

I feel bad for all of us

I hope those who were laid off land on their feet soon. I also hope for those who are still here that the vibe at work and generally bad management will not get even worse. This particular round of layoffs was an exceptionally disappointing display... — read more

I'm looking for a new job

I didn't dislike my job until the latest round of layoffs. The management has mishandled things to the point that I can't see myself staying here because I don't trust them not to run the entire place into the ground. They showed how little they... — read more

A case of very terrible timing!

This whole thing was timed terribly. All management needed to do was wait 60-90 days, and all the Sirius people waiting for stock to vest would have emptied out. By January 1, they would have had more departures than people they laid off. They would... — read more

The CDW Way of Gaslighting

Poor management, lack of job accountability and overall claptrap communication of why coworkers are laid off is unethical. When the CEO reports Q1/Q2 losses, that is the reason. Not employees with performance issues. When managers don't document... — read more

I would have volunteered

I don't want to sound insensitive to those who lost their jobs, but I can't understand why they didn't ask for volunteers before involuntary layoffs. Many people are unhappy. I know for a fact I'm not the only one. Now I'm pi---d off that I wasn't... — read more

Top sc--ws up, we pay the price

The blame for CDW’s layoff woes isn’t on SIrius, it’s on CDW Leadership for paying $2.5B for the ill-timed acquisition along with poor integration planning and execution. Along with that the tools/systems/platform integration takes a long time and... — read more

Legacy Sirius here…

We really can relax a bit for now?

With prior layoffs they were done in 1 day. For those remaining, you can relax a bit but brush up your resume and keep it on deck just in case. Another poor/soft Q4 and Q1 and you’re probably looking at another round of layoffs in April 2025... — read more

CDW Will Fail

Having worked in backbone at CDW, I can tell you what will eventually be CDW’s downfall. First off, the leadership is sub-par. While I understand the need to drive sales, CDW leadership has not investing in systems that will reduce redundancies and... — read more

Laid off

Was hit by the layoff yesterday, didn’t get so much as a teams message from my manager thanking me for my time, saying good luck, nothing. Just insane to me, shows how much anybody here gives a damn about their employees.
