Knowing earnings are this week, should we be worried about a layoff coming with it? Part of me thinks it’s not going to be until the new year, but with so many other companies announcing layoffs, I’m not sure if we wait.

@ez - We have Q4 to finish! We have to work everyone down and then let them go when they’re no longer needed!
At this point, you should always be ‘worried’ about the prospect of layoffs at least twice a year
@d2 Middle Management is KPI'ed on the amount of sports analogies they have at the ready to GO TEAM YOU GOT THIS EVEN IF ITS ONE BLOODY INCH AT A TIME
@ez Conor Waddell and Bob Kirby are corrupt! They deserve to be fired, before the holidays.
Confirmed. Definitely a yes on layoffs, but thankfully not until after the holidays at this point. The company is not completely heartless! You will have a nice holiday season then say goodbye in first week of January.
Middle management is such an easy layer to take aim at in layoffs. Not one person here with any experience won't have worked at a place and looked at at least one person in a middle management role and thought, "What on Earth do you actually do?"
It's a broad term covering plenty roles but, in truth, it's very easy for these types of roles to become redundant and for people in them to become caught in some stagnation loop of "they're there to do what they do and they do what they do because they're there".
Yes
Well, hopefully it goes down just like what happened at Insight, Mullen the CEO is retiring at 64 years old, that never happens, she was pushed out by the board after driving the company off a cliff.. Maybe it's time for change.. We shall have to wait and see.
